A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale

The original UP Channel movie A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale will debut on November 15 at 7 PM.

When spoiled, 21-year old college student Luce Lockhart is forced to take a job over the holidays walking a rich developer’s dog, she is thrilled to discover they are going to build a salon and spa over the quaint local dog park nearby. But when Luce meets Dean, an irritating yet handsome dog walker actively trying to stop them, Luce is forced to question what the park means to her newfound friends, and whether she can put aside her selfish ways to help save the park before Christmas.

The cast includes Dina Meyer (Beverly Hills 90210), Patrick Muldoon (Days of Our Lives) and Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls).

Christmas Incorporated

The Hallmark Channel movie Christmas Incorporated will debut on November 15 at 8 PM.

Riley is on the job hunt weeks before Christmas when she miraculously lands an assistant position with a wealthy entrepreneur. He’s a headstrong socialite who is being forced to play Scrooge and close one of his factories just weeks before Christmas. Riley, always up for a challenge, convinces him to visit the town and hatches a plan to keep the factory afloat.

The film stars Shenae Grimes-Beech (90210) and Steve Lund (Bitten).

Into the Badlands

On November 15, the new AMC six-part martial-arts drama Into the Badlands will debut at 10 PM.

The series tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained warrior named Sunny (Daniel Wu) and a young boy named M.K. (Aramis Knight) who embark on a spiritual journey across a dangerous land.

The cast includes Sarah Bolger (Once Upon a Time), Orla Brady (American Odyssey) and Marton Csokas (Sons of Liberty).

Agent X

November 8, the new TNT drama Agent X will air its two-hour series debut at 9 PM.

In times of extreme crisis, when traditional law and government aren’t in a position to help, there is an unseen hand that works to protect this country and its citizens from all manner of threats by any means necessary. Hidden from the view of the public – and even from the President – there is a top secret agent, Agent X (Jeff Hephner from Boss and Chicago Fire) who is trained and ready to serve, deployed only at the careful discretion of the Vice President (film star Sharon Stone).

The cast also includes Gerald McRaney.

Flesh and Bone

The 8-part limited series Flesh and Bone will debut on Starz on November 8 at 8 PM.

Show Synopsis: The series follows a young dancer named Claire (Sarah Hay from Black Swan), an emotionally wounded but transcendent ballerina navigating the dysfunction and glamour of the ballet world.

The cast will include Sascha Radetsky (from the cult film Center Stage), Ben Daniels (House of Cards) and Damon Herriman (Justified).

Charming Christmas

On November 8, the new Hallmark Channel movie Charming Christmas will debut at 8 PM.

Meredith Rossman (Julie Benz from Defiance) is the uptight heiress of Rossman’s Department store. She has made the business her entire life, not leaving any time for Christmas or romance, much to the chagrin of her parents. But when she is roped into donning the store’s antique Mrs. Claus outfit to play Mrs. Claus at Rossman’s famous Santaville, her life takes some unexpected turns. Through the help of the suit and the charming store Santa, Nick (David Sutcliffe from Cracked and Proof), Meredith rekindles her love of Christmas, the store, their employees and possibly even begins a new love with Nick. He is mysterious, great with children and always there when you need him. Just like the real Santa….wait…could he be? One thing is certain: from the moment Meredith put on the magical Mrs. Claus dress, her life would never be the same.

Ice Sculpture Christmas

The new Hallmark Channel movie Ice Sculpture Christmas will debut on November 7 at 8 PM.

After starting her first job at a country club restaurant, Callie – an aspiring chef – reconnects with her childhood friend David, whose wealthy family is a member of the club. When David enters Callie into the club’s annual Christmas ice sculpting competition without her knowledge, she’s forced to go head-to-head with her boss, Chef Gloria. Even though ice sculpting is cold work, sparks are ignited between Callie and David as they prepare for the competition as a team. Callie’s passions for cooking and ice sculpting are met with romance and Christmas spirit as she works to create the perfect sculpture.

The cast include Rachel Boston (Witches of East End), Brenda Strong (Desperate Housewives) and David Alpay (The Vampire Diaries).

Tis the Season for Love

The Hallmark Channel movie Tis the Season for Love will debut on November 1 at 8 PM.

Beth Baker (Sarah Lancaster from Chuck) is an out-of-work actress stuck in New York City without her friends at Christmas time. She decides to return home to the quaint small town she escaped 10 years before and finds a place far different than the hamlet she left. She suddenly finds performing possibilities and even romance that kind of blow her away. Will the holidays prove to be as magical for Beth as they appear, or is it doomed to disappear as quickly as it arrived for a lady who is ready to take chances she could never have imagined a decade before. Then again, this is the kind of thing that seems to happen during the Christmas season all the time.

The film also stars Brendan Penny (Motive).

Supergirl

On October 26, the new CBS series Supergirl will debut at 8 PM.

Based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist from Glee), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

The cast includes Chyler Leigh (Grey’s Anatomy) as Kara’s adopted sister Alex; Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal and Brothers & Sisters) as Kara’s media mogul boss Cat Grant; Mehcad Brooks (True Blood) as former Daily Planet photographer James Olsen and David Harewood (Homeland) as Hank Henshaw, the head of a super-secret agency.

Former Clark Kent Dean Cain and former Supergirl star Helen Slater will make cameos in the pilot as Kara’s adoptive parents.

NOTE: Supergirl will move to its regular timeslot at 8 PM on CBS.

Good Witch Halloween

Good Witch Halloween, a two-hour sneak peek-Halloween special of the new weekly series, will air on the Hallmark Channel on October 24 at 9 PM.

With Halloween fast approaching, Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) and the town of Middleton are hard at work preparing for the annual Harvest Festival. This year, just many others, Cassie and the Russell family is transforming the legendary Grey House Bed and Breakfast into a delightful haunted house. But when a handsome stranger checks in, the family suddenly find themselves on edge.

Elsewhere, Cassie’s cousin Abigail Pershing (Sarah Power) competes against local cafe owner Stephanie (Kylee Evans) [and her boss] in the local Harvest Festival Queen competition while Grace (Bailee Madison) deals with bullying at school.

The film also stars James Denton, Catherine Disher, Hannah Endicott-Douglas and Dan Jeannotte.

NOTE: Good Witch will return with an all-new season in 2016.
