On October 8 the 6-part, 12-hour mini-series Titanic: Blood & Steel will debut on Encore at 8 PM.

The mini-series follows the lives of the people who made the Titanic: from the workers who built it to the rich financiers. Dr. Mark Muir, an American Engineer – metallurgist and former Irish immigrant (Kevin Zegers), convinces American tycoon J.P. Morgan (Chris Noth) to hire him for the biggest shipping project in the world, the construction of the RMS Titanic at Belfast’s Harland and Wolff shipyard. Mark, whose real name is Marcas Malone, is a native of Belfast. Now with new name and identity, he tries to hide his heritage from his employers, as he is Catholic and his employers, the Protestant elite that rule Belfast, dislike Catholics. While working there, Mark falls in love with Sofia Silvestri (Alessandra Mastronardi), an Italian immigrant. However, during the construction of the Titanic, tensions rise between the lower-class Catholic and the rich Protestant Elite.

The cast also includes Neve Campbell, Derek Jacobi and Liam Cunningham.

The Lifetime made-for-TV movie Steel Magnolias will debut on October 7 at 9 PM.

Queen Latifah stars in the small screen adaptation of the iconic play and 1989 film of the same name, which chronicles the lives and friendship of six women in Louisiana, supporting each other through their triumphs and tragedies, they congregate at Truvy’s beauty shop to ponder the mysteries of life and death, husbands and children – and hair and nails – all the important topics that truly unite and celebrate women.

The cast includes Phylicia Rashad, Adepero Oduye, Condola Rashad, Jill Scott and Alfre Woodard.

The made-for-TV movie Abducted: The Carlina White Story will debut on Lifetime on October 6 at 8 PM.

Aunjanue Ellis (The Help), Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP), and Sherri Shepherd (The View) star in the true story of the kidnapping of Carlina White (Palmer), who was abducted as an infant by Ann Pettway (Ellis) from a New York hospital and solved her own kidnapping and reunited with her biological parents 23 years later.

The next six chapters of the brand new online series from CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker called Cybergeddon are now live globally across 25 countries in 10 different languages on Yahoo!.

Cybergeddon follows the story of agent Chloe Jocelyn (Missy Peregrym from Rookie Blue) as she investigates a slew of seemingly unrelated cyberattacks with fellow agent Frank Parker (Manny Montana from Breakout Kings) and incarcerated master hacker Chase ‘Rabbit’ Rosen (Kick Gurry from Speed Racer). Chloe and her team must crack the worldwide cybercrime ring led by Gustov Dobreff (Olivier Martinez from Unfaithful) before it is too late. The new thriller 666 Park Avenue will debut on ABC at 10 PM on September 30.

At 666 Park Avenue, anything you desire can be yours. When Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor) and Henry Martin (Dave Annable), an idealistic young couple from the Midwest are offered the opportunity to manage the historic building, they will not only fall prey to the machinations of mysterious owner Gavin Doran (Terry O’Quinn) and his wife Olivia (Vanessa Williams).

On September 27, the new drama Last Resort will debut on ABC at 8 PM.

The U.S. ballistic missile submarine Colorado receive an order to fire nuclear weapons on Pakistan; but Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) demands confirmation of the orders only to be unceremoniously relieved of duty by the White House. XO Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman) finds himself in charge, facing the same difficult decision. He also refuses the order, causing the Colorado to be targeted, fired upon and hit. The submarine and its crew find themselves crippled on the ocean floor being declared enemies of their own country. With nowhere left to turn, the crew takes the sub to an exotic island to find refuge, romance and a chance at a new life, as they try to clear their names and get home.

Among the cast are Autumn Reeser (The O.C.), Daisy Betts (Persons Unknown), Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse), Jessy Schram (Falling Skies) and Robert Patrick (The Unit).

The new drama Elementary will debut on September 27 on CBS at 10 PM.

Jonny Lee Miller (Eli Stone) stars as a modern-day Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu (Southland and Ally McBeal) as his sober companion Dr. Joan Watson. Holmes falls from grace in London and after a stint in rehab he escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to work with Dr. Watson.

The cast also includes Aidan Quinn as Sherlock’s police contact.

On September 25, the new period piece drama Vegas will debut at 10 PM on CBS.

Dennis Quaid stars as former Las Vegas Sheriff Ralph Lamb, a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing the city into order in the 1960’s. He clashes with Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis), a ruthless Chicago gangster who plans to make Vegas his own.

The cast includes Jason O’Mara, as Lamb’s even-keeled brother Jack; Taylor Handley, Lamb’s charming but impulsive son and Carrie-Anne Moss as an ambitious ADA who grew up next to the Lambs.
