The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as on streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout January:

January 1 – The second season of Red Eye will premiere online on Hulu today

January 1 – The new series Harlan Coben’s Run Away will debut online today on Netflix

Show Synopsis: Simon Greene’s (James Nesbitt) perfect life is shattered when daughter Paige runs away, later found strung out in a park. Simon’s search leads into a dangerous underworld where an act of violence rocks his life. The cast includes Ruth Jones and Minnie Driver.

January 3 – The Hallmark Channel movie Lost in Paradise will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When the founder of a high-end fashion company gets marooned on an “deserted” island with a chef, romance blossoms as they work together to survive. The movie stars Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding.

January 3 – The Lifetime movie Stolen Girl will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An American woman (Kate Beckinsale) spends more than ten years tracking down her daughter who was abducted and taken to the Middle East by the child’s father. The movie also stars Scott Eastwood and Matt Craven.

January 4 – The 13th season premiere of When Calls the Heart will air on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

January 4 – The new FOX drama Best Medicine will debut at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: A brilliant surgeon (Josh Charles) leaves Boston to become a small-town doctor where he spent childhood summers. Despite his medical skills, his rude manner alienates locals as he battles hidden phobias and struggles with personal connections. The cast includes Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer and Josh Segarra.

January 4 – The Critics Choice Awards will air on E! and USA Network at 7 PM

January 5 – Brilliant Minds will be back from its winter break on NBC at 10 PM

January 6 – The 4th season premiere of Will Trent will air on ABC at 8 PM followed by the mid-season return of High Potential at 9 PM followed by the 8th season premiere of The Rookie at 10 PM

January 6 – The timeslot debut of the new FOX drama Best Medicine will air at 8 PM followed by the return of Doc at 9 PM

January 7 – The mid-season returns of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 8 – The second season of The Pitt will premiere online on HBO Max today

January 8 – The new limited series His & Hers will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: Two estranged spouses — one a detective, the other a news reporter (Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson) — vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect. The cast includes Pablo Schreiber, Marin Ireland and Rebecca Rittenhouse.

January 8 – The mid-season returns of Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will air at 8 and 9 PM respectively on NBC with the second season premiere of The Hunting Party set to air at 10 PM

January 8 – The mid-season returns of 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey’s Anatomy will air on ABC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 8 – The new drama Girl Taken will debut online on Paramount+ today

Show Synopsis: The series follows the story of twin sisters Lily and Abby (Tallulah Evans and Delphi Evans), whose lives are shattered when Lily is abducted from their quiet rural English town by beloved local teacher Rick Hansen (Alfie Allen). January 9 – The new movie People We Meet on Vacation will debut online on Netflix today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Poppy (Emily Bader) wants to explore the world and Alex (Tom Blyth) prefers to stay home with a good book, but somehow they are the very best of friends. They live far apart, but for a decade they have spent one week of summer vacation together. The movie also stars Lucien Laviscount, Jameela Jamil, Lukas Gage, Alice Lee, Molly Shannon and Alan Ruck.

January 9 – The third season premiere of Tehran will air on Apple TV today

January 9 – The new series Coldwater will debut online today on Paramount+

Show Synopsis: Stay-at-home dad John (Andrew Lincoln) moves his family up from London to the rural Scottish town of Coldwater after his failure to intervene in a violent confrontation at a playground brings his identity crisis to a head. On arrival, John is quickly befriended by next-door neighbor Tommy, a charming, confident pillar of the community. But it’s only after a series of unsettling incidents start to occur that John starts to wonder who the real Tommy actually is. The series also stars Eve Myles, Indira Varma and Ewen Bremner.

NOTE: This drama will debut on Showtime on January 11 at 9 PM.

January 9 – The second season of A Thousand Blows will premiere online on Hulu today

January 10 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Melbourne Match will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Georgie (Mallory Jansen), a travel writer, travels to Melbourne for an assignment where she meets Zach (Ryan Corr), an Australian ex-footballer who agrees to be her tour guide and shows her that there’s more to life than work.

January 10 – The Lifetime movie Accused: The Karen Read Story will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Katie Cassidy stars as the Boston woman who was accused of killing her police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, by hitting him with her SUV in 2022, but she was acquitted of murder in June of 2025 but convicted of OUI, with her defense claiming a massive law enforcement cover-up framed her.

January 11 – The second season of The Night Manager will premiere online on Amazon Prime

January 11 – The 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on CBS at 8 PM

January 11 – The 6th season of Miss Scarlet will premiere on PBS at 8 PM followed by season six of All Creatures Great and Small at 9 PM followed by the debut of the new drama Bookish at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (Bookish): Gabriel Book (Matt Gatiss), proprietor of an antiquarian bookshop, relies on his vast collection to unravel baffling cases. He nurtures a group of lovable yet troubled individuals, providing informal protection and guidance. The cast includes Polly Walker and Joely Richardson.

January 14 – The British drama Riot Women will debut online on Britbox today

January 15 – The first two episodes of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will debut online on Paramount+ today

Show Synopsis: Sandro Rosta plays Caleb Mir, Karim Diané plays Jay-Den Kraag, Kerrice Brooks plays Series Acclimation Mil, George Hawkins plays Darem Reymi and Bella Shepard plays Genesis Lythe, all cadets who train to become Starfleet officers as they deal with friendships, rivalries and romance, all while facing a mysterious threat to both the Academy and the Federation. The series also stars Holly Hunter, Paul Giamatti, Robert Picardo, Tig Notaro and Oded Fehr.

January 15 – The new Netflix series Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will debut online today

Show Synopsis: When a lavish country house party ends in murder, a witty young aristocrat (Mia McKenna-Bruce) sets out to solve the mystery in this adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel. The cast includes Helena Bonham Carter, Martin Freeman and Edward Bluemel.

January 15 – The period piece drama Ponies will debut online on Peacock today

Show Synopsis: The series is set in 1977 in Moscow. Two “PONIES” (persons of no interest in intelligence speak) work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy. That is until their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the USSR, and the pair become CIA operatives. Bea (Emilia Clarke) is an over-educated, Russian-speaking child of Soviet immigrants. Her cohort, Twila (Haley Lu Richardson), is a small-town girl who is as abrasive as she is fearless. Together, they work to uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and solve the mystery that made them widows in the first place.

January 15 – The third season of Gangs of London will premiere online on AMC+ today

January 16 – The new feature film The Rip will debut online on Netflix today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A group of Miami cops discovers a stash of millions in cash, leading to distrust as outsiders learn about the huge seizure, making them question who to rely on. The ensemble cast includes Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Kyle Chandler, Teyana Taylor, Steven Yeun, Scott Adkins, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Nestor Carbonell and Lina Esco.

January 16 – The Tubi movie How to Lose a Popularity Contest will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This young adult romantic comedy will star Sara Waisglass (Ginny & Georgia) and TikTok star-singer Chase Hudson will play an overachiever and a slacker who team up to wind student body president, but find themselves falling for each other instead.

January 16 – The series finale of Power Book IV: Force will air on Starz at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: Lukas (Bonko Khoza), a former Special Forces mercenary crippled by PTSD, has turned his back on his violent past and is operating as a junk collector on the streets of Johannesburg. January 17 – The new Hallmark Channel movie Love on the Amazon will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Claire (Jaicy Elliot) travels to Brazil and hires Danny (Rafael de la Fuente), a riverboat captain, to help her deliver an important message for her sister Amelia, a marine biologist studying pink dolphins on the Amazon River.

January 18 – The new Game of Thrones prequel series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will debut on HBO at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: A century before the events of “Game of Thrones,” two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and his diminutive squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell). January 21 – The finale of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will air online on Disney+ and Hulu today

January 21 – The new Amazon Prime drama Steal will debut online today

Show Synopsis: A major heist at a pension fund company, forcing employees into executing fraudulent trades, while a detective with personal money troubles investigates. The series stars Sophie Turner, Archie Madekwe and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd.

January 22 – The new Netflix series Finding Her Edge will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the book by Jennifer Iacopelli, the series will follow the three Russo sisters (Alexandra Beaton, Alic Malakhov and Madelyn Keys), heirs to a struggling figure skating dynasty, as middle sister Adriana navigates training for the World Championships with a new partner while pretending to date him for sponsorship, all while dealing with feelings for her old partner. The cast includes Harmon Walsh and Kimberly-Sue Murray.

January 24 – The new Hallmark Channel movie Caught By Love will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: While on a journey of self-discovery, a resort guest gets swept into an undercover investigation for stolen jewels that turns into an unexpected and adventurous romance. The cast includes Rachael Leigh Cook and Luke Macfarlane.

January 25 – The new FOX drama Memory of a Killer will debut at (approximately) 10 PM [after the NFC Championship Game]

Show Synopsis: Angelo Doyle (Patrick Dempsey) lives a double life as an assassin and a family man -, which all worked out well until he was hit with early onset Alzheimer’s. Now his worlds are colliding, putting his family in danger. The cast includes Gina Torres, Michael Imperioli, Michaela McManus, Peter Gadiot and Richard Harmon.

January 26 – The new drama Memory of a Killer will move to its regular timeslot on FOX at 9 PM

January 26 – The third season premiere of the Canadian drama Wild Cards will air on the CW at 8 PM

January 27 – The new Marvel series Wonder Man will make its debut online on Disney+ today

Show Synopsis: Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is struggling to get his career off the ground. January 28 – The Amazon Prime movie The Wrecking Crew will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In this action comedy, two estranged half-brothers, Jonny (Jason Momoa) and James (Dave Bautista) are forced to reunite after their father’s mysterious death. As they set out to uncover the truth, buried secrets resurface and loyalties are tested, unveiling a conspiracy that can tear their family apart. January 28 – The third season premiere of School Spirits will air online on Paramount+ today

January 29 – The first of two parts of season four of Bridgerton will premiere online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: This season centers of bohemian second son, Benedict Brigerton, as he resists settling down until he meets a mysterious “Lady in Silver” at his mother’s masquerade ball, sparking a classic Cinderella-esque romance with Sophie, a resourceful but overlooked maid, as he struggles to reconcile his fantasy with the reality of her humble station and societal expectations.

January 31 – The new Hallmark Channel movie Missing the Boat will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Strangers Kelly and Parker both end up on the same Italian cruise, but after missing the boat during a stop, they’re forced to team up and race across southern Italy to catch up. The movie stars Emilie Ullerup and Kristoffer Polaha.
