On October 15, the Hallmark Channel movie Autumn in the City will debut at 8 PM.

Piper Grant (Aimee Teegarden) moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Evan Roderick), an aspiring writer. While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them closer together.

When Piper realizes her true passion is illustration, they decide to team up on a children’s book project, and in the process, they discover the thing they’re really searching for might be each other.

The new drama High School will debut online on October 14 on Freevee (formerly IMDbTV).

Based on the best-selling memoir by recording artists Tegan and Sara Quin, the series will be told through the backdrop of 90’s grunge and rave culture, weaving between parallel and discordant memories of twin sisters growing up down the hall from one another.

The series will star Railey and Seazynn Gilliland, Cobie Smulders and Kyle Bornheimer.

On October 14, the Apple TV+ 3-episode series Shantaram will debut online.

Based on the nationally best-selling novel by Gregory David Roberts, the series follows a fugitive named Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy) looking to get lost in vibrant and chaotic 1980s Bombay. Alone in an unfamiliar city, Lin struggles to avoid the trouble he’s running from in this new place. After falling for an enigmatic and intriguing woman named Karla, Lin must choose between freedom or love and the complications that come with it.

The cast includes Alexander Siddig and Luke Pasqualino.

On October 10, the season premieres of All American and All American: Homecoming will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively.

The new show The Winchesters and the acquired series Professionals will both debut on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively on October 11. The Winchesters is told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), the series focuses on the epic, untold love story of how John Winchester (Drake Rodger from The In Between) met Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly from American Housewife) and put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world. Meanwhile, Professionals follows Vincent Corbo (Tom Welling from Smallville and Lucifer), a top-tier security operative who is paid to protect the interests of rich and powerful clients by any means necessary – legal or not. After a next-gen medical-data satellite explodes on launch, Corbo is hired by the rocket’s designer, billionaire futurist Peter Swann (Brendan Fraser), who suspects sabotage. Complicating Corbo’s new gig is his former paramour and now Swann’s fiancée, medical visionary Dr. Grace Davila (Elena Anaya from Wonder Woman), who is racing to help stave off a global catastrophe. The second season premiere of Miss Scarlet & the Duke will air on PBS on October 16 at 8 PM followed by the debuts of both Magpie Murders and Annika at 9 and 10 PM respectively. Magpie Murders stars Lesley Manville stars as Susan Ryeland, a book editor, who attempts to attain the final chapters of an unfinished mystery manuscript, which plunges her into a shocking mystery case of her own – one which will change her life in ways she’d never expected. And, Annika stars Nicola Walker as DI Annika Strandhed, who juggles enigmatic cases while trying to raise her rebellious teenage daughter.

On October 16, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Perfect Harmony will debut at 9 PM. When Jack Chandeller (James Denton) and Barrett Woodward’s (Sherri Saum) mutual friends Naomi (Julia Benson) and Simon (Peter Benson) are ready to tie the knot, they ask the pair to be Best Man and Maid of Honor. Barrett is a buttoned-up college professor and Jack is a laid-back former pop star who have always been like oil and water, but they agree to set aside their differences to support Naomi and Simon. At the engagement party, an impromptu duet between Barrett and Jack begins to thaw the frost between them, much to his son Teddy’s (James real life son Sheppard Denton) dismay as Barrett is his professor. Slowly, Best Man and Maid of Honor begin to change their perceptions of each other and find they may be more in tune than either of them would have imagined.

The UPtv movie Love in Wolf Creek will debut on October 16 at 7 PM. Sam sets out to save a pack of wild wolves and a conservation refuge with the help of the town’s handsome newcomer. Starring Tim Rozon and Nola Martin.

Lastly, also on October 16, the third season premiere of Step Up: High Water will air on Starz at 9:56 PM; and that same night, the series finale of Chesapeake Shores will air at 8 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
