According to the Leverage Fans website the Con-Con 2011 event has been canceled due to ticket sales not reaching the necessary level.
The following is a statement from the site: “Dean Devlin and his team at Electric Entertainment, along with the cast and crew of Leverage, thank fans who purchased tickets to Con-Con 2011. We are disappointed by the cancellation of Con-Con 2011 and we regret any inconvenience.”

From my understanding, tickets sales were down from last year because Christian Kane wasn’t going to be there. Not saying he was the main draw, but I think it also stems from the fact that prices for airfare have gone up a lot. CK draws a lot of fans though for his concerts. Any thoughts on why it may have been canceled?
Off topic: Any word on the pilot for Outlaw Country that had Travis Fimmel in it?
I would imagine people just can’t afford to go; be it airfare costs, gas prices, hotel costs, et al. Financially it’s probably just not feasible for most people. As for Travis’s new show, it was picked up by FX and production is to begin this fall. When (or if – my words, no one else’s) it will air could be next year, depending on how production goes this fall. That’s all the info I could find.
