Last month at the annual San Diego Comic Con, the folks at TV Guide Magazine held a special panel honoring “Fan Favorites” – those actors/actresses (or Executive Producers) and shows that have really won over the TV viewing audience or new shows that hope to become fan favorites in the upcoming 2011-2012 TV season.
The panel was moderated by TV Guide Magazine Senior Editor Debra Birnbaum and featured the following panelists:

Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, Executive Producers for the popular CW series The Vampire Diaries;
Actor Nestor Carbonell, who was part of the large cast of the ABC juggernaut series Lost and who will be seen in the new CW series Ringer that welcomes the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar (BUFFY!) to TV;

Jorge Garcia and Zachary Levi (Photo Credit: Rueben)
Actor Jorge Garcia, who was also a cast member on Lost for its entire duration on TV as well as the star of the upcoming mid-season FOX series Alcatraz;
Actor Zachary Levi, the lead in the cult- and fan-favorite NBC series Chuck, which is going into its fifth and final season this fall;

Johnny Galecki and Matt Smith (Photo Credit: Rueben)
Actor Johnny Galecki from the popular CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, which will be returing for its fifth season this fall;
Actor Matt Smith from the longest-running sci-fi TV series Doctor Who, which will celebrate it’s 50th year of TV next year;
Actress Kristin Bauer van Straten and actor Nelson Ellis from True Blood, which is currently airing new episodes on HBO; and,

Actress Leslie Hope, who appeared as Terri Bauer, the wife of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in the first season of the groundbreaking FOX drama 24 and who will be one of the lead characters in the new supernatural ABC series The River, which debuts this fall.
As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words and I have six to share with you from that panel that provided each panelist a chance to talk about the cultural affect their respective show(s) had on the worldwide audience and their hopes for the futures of each of their shows.

It was a panel filled with a lot of great clips from each of their shows, lots of laughs and very few spoilers; but it was a great panel.
Enjoy the pictures and thanks to TV Guide Magazine for hosting the panel and Comic Con for always providing a great time at the con.
