Christmas Magic

Christmas Magic is the new Hallmark Channel movie that will debut at 8 PM on December 18.

Carrie Bishop (Lindy Booth) lives for her successful career as an event planner in New York City, but her life changes in an instant after a nasty car accident in a snowstorm. Carrie suffers head trauma and regains consciousness in Central Park with an older man, Henry (Derek McGrath). Henry is Carrie’s spirit guide and is there to help her “pass over” to Heaven. But before Carrie can move on, she must fulfill one last task on Earth—a type of Angel Duty. Henry tells Carrie that she must help guide a widowed, young restaurant owner, Scott Walker, (Paul McGillion) who has recently considered suicide because his beloved restaurant/catering business is utterly failing. Carrie befriends Scott and his 8-year-old daughter and immediately displays a knack for promoting the restaurant. But time isn’t on Carrie’s side on this mission. She has until midnight Christmas Eve to turn the eatery around. As friendship grows, romance blooms, and Carrie finds it a struggle to keep business and pleasure separate. Will the heat in Scott’s kitchen be all about the food? Or is one Angel on a meteoric rise to earn her wings?

Here is a trailer for Christmas Magic.

Must Watch: Evil Plots Are Afoot in First ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Trailer

Watch: Rock Out with Tom Cruise in the First ‘Rock of Ages’ Trailer!

Q&A SECTION (with Kristin from E! Online)

Question: Tell me anything about Pretty Little Liars please! – Sully716

Kristin: The new year starts out with a bang—and more than one brawl—when PLL returns Jan. 2. Ezra walks out of a disastrous coming-out party at the Montgomery’s with a split lip, and two of the pretties (who make even orange jumpsuits look glamorous!) get in a very ugly catfight. Is “A” winning after all? Maybe the girls should switch to a limited texting plan.

Question: What are we going to see on Pretty Little Liars??? – MichaelGDuff

Kristin: How about a first-hand glimpse of “A”?! If the girls somehow had a restraining order against their stalker (they wish!), “A” would be in clear violation by venturing closer to the fab four than ever before in first post-hiatus episode.

Question: Obsessed with Revenge! I love Nolan and Emily and they broke my heart last episode. Tell me what’s in store for them! – Sarah

Kristin: We’ll let Gabriel tackle this one: “The fun of playing that relationship is that it evolves every single episode.” While he teases that Emily (Emily VanCamp) may try to pull Nolan back in, Gabriel says, “There’s only so many times I can get thrown out, or not! We’ll see the depths of Nolan’s desperation for companionship and the Clarke family.” Dare we even think that he could be Emily’s sibling?!

Question: Really upset about the Sheriff’s death on Once Upon a Time! Does this mean Emma won’t have a love interest for a while? – Hannah

Kristin: Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is going to be a little too busy for romance when the show returns in January, as she’s battling it out with newspaper editor/Magic Mirror Sydney (Giancarlo Esposito) to replace our beloved Graham (Jamie Dornan) as the town’s sheriff. Also, Morrison live-tweeted last night’s episode and says, “It will be hard for [Emma] to ever open her heart again” after losing Graham. All the tears!

Question: You’ve been holding out on us Supernatural fans! Give us some scoop to make up for it please! – Vanessa

Kristin: The show is currently looking to cast the role of Nora, a well-meaning and hardworking Wiccan who’s a little bewildered by the darker side of evil. Bonus scoop: They’re also casting a troubled postal worker who has something in common with Transformers: There’s more to him than meets the eye.

That’s it. Enjoy!

Christmas Comes Home to Canaan

The Hallmark Channel movie Christmas Comes Home to Canaan will debut at 8 PM on December 17.

Billy Ray Cyrus reprises his role as Daniel Burton in the 1960s-era saga of a family’s experiences in racially charged Canaan, TX. In the story, Daniel’s son Bobber (Liam James) needs extensive orthopedic surgery and months of intensive physical therapy to recover from being struck down by an automobile. Rodney Freeman (Matt Ward, narrates the story), the young black man who Daniel took into his home and raised as another son, has become a famous writer and offers to fly Daniel and Bobber to San Francisco and to pay for the surgery. Once in San Francisco, Daniel meets and falls for Briony Adair (Gina Holden), a physical rehabilitation specialist who will be working toward Bobber’s recovery. When therapy progresses slowly, Bobber invites Briony to come home to Canaan to spend Christmas with the Burtons and continue his treatment. Briony is a natural at caring for a thriving family, but Sarah (Emily Tennant), Daniel’s daughter distances herself not wanting to dishonor her late mother’s memory, and a disastrous Christmas vi.sit drives Daniel and Briony apart. In the soul searching that follows, Daniel finds the strength to open his heart again and invite love back into his life.

Here is a trailer for Christmas Comes Home to Canaan.
