So with these ratings maybe The Finder can be saved
It could go either way, but from all that I have been reading about the show (in terms of ratings only), it’s not looking good. But then again, Fringe has held on for several seasons with even lower numbers, so anything is possible.
So I have heard about Fringe not only from you but others and took the plunge this summer. Now my heart is filled with sadness that the final season (and a short one at that) is about to begin. This must be one of the most underrated shows ever. I didn’t watch it originally because I felt, after three episodes, that it reminded me too much of other series…
I do agree that Fringe is an under-appreciated series even though I am not among its viewers. I have seen for myself the power of this show and the dedication by its fans at various conventions. It is certainly loved by its fans and will be greatly missed once it ends. But, that being said, it is getting a chance to come to a planned yet rather than having the rug pulled out from under it and being cancelled before the showrunners/executive producers/writers could bring it to a close. Not every show gets that opportunity.
