If Only This Was Where I Was Actually Going (WINK!)

Hey All,

So, for the first time in five long years, I am taking a vacation – one that doesn’t involve press coverage like when I attend Wonder Con or Comic Con – but one for pleasure and leisure.

I will be leaving tomorrow morning for Pittsburgh, which is the closest city to my tiny little hometown of Apollo, Pennsylvania, which is nestled “in the hicks” about 40 miles northeast of the city.

While there I will be spending time with the remaining members of my immediate family, few though they may be, as well as visiting with my dearest best friends, who I have been friends with since grade school [and let me just say that was a LONG time ago – wink!] and staying with two of my favorite people in all of the world: my wonderful (albeit adopted) aunt and uncle.

That being said, due to the location where I will be for the week and the limited access I will have to the internet (and to actually take a much needed and hugely deserved break from everything!) I won’t be posting very much during my vacation, but I do have a lot of articles set to post to keep the folks who stop by Rueben’s Ramblings as informed as they can.
