It was a big night of programming on the major networks last night with the return of a couple more dramas, the special debut of a new series and nearly a handful of returning shows back for another new episode of the 2013-2014 fall TV season.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW) [Season Premiere] – 2.6 million
9 PM Shows:
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) [NEW] – 9.4 million
Glee (FOX) [NEW] – 4.6 million
The Originals (The CW] [Special Debut] – 2.2 million
10 PM Shows:
Scandal (ABC) [Season Premiere] – 10.5 million
Elementary (CBS) [NEW] – 9.2 million
Parenthood (NBC) [NEW] – 4.8 million
