The Hallmark Channel movie Moonlight in Vermont will debut on April 8 at 9 PM.
After fast-paced New York City high-end real estate broker Fiona Rangely (Lacey Chabert) gets dumped by her boyfriend, she escapes to her family’s quaint Vermont Inn for a few days to slow down and evaluate her life. When her ex-boyfriend Nate shows up at the Inn with a brand new girlfriend, Fiona quickly devises a plan to win him back: pretend the handsome and very laid-back head chef Derek (Carlo Marks from Chesapeake Shores) is her new boyfriend! Much to the surprise of Derek — and to Fiona herself — in pretending to be in love, Fiona realizes she’s been thrown a curveball: her busy and scheduled life may not be what she really wants, discovering that sometimes the best things in life can’t be rushed and are worth the wait.
Here is a trailer for Moonlight in Vermont.

Any idea who the artist of the title song was in the movie? I thought it might have been Nat King Cole, but it appears he only covered an instrumental version with his trio back in the 1940s. It doesn’t sound like Frank Sinatra, and there are dozens of other artists who covered it. Thank you.
At this time I am unsure of the singer of that song, but I have a feeler out to Hallmark to see if they would answer that. Should I hear anything back from them, I will post the details.
Thank you for the quick reply and taking-up my cause. I have also submitted a request to Hallmark to see if they will answer. I have heard several versions of the song in my quest to find the artist, but the version in the movie continues to be my favorite. Another artist who is listed as having covered it and sounds similar is Earl Grant. I can’t seem to locate any versions, however.
