The Hallmark Channel movie My Favorite Wedding will debut on June 24 at 9 PM.

Potential Northwestern fellow Tess Harper (Maggie Lawson from Psych) lasers through her best friend’s wedding planning like the star doctor she hopes to soon become. In fact, Tess puzzles through any problem – provided it’s not her own. When she meets divorce lawyer and groom’s best friend, Michael, Tess maneuvers around him like a gurney in the emergency room until she discovers this best man has a few moves of his own.

The cast also includes Paul Greene (When Calls the Heart).

Here is a list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On June 19, the season finale of Better Call Saul will air at 10 PM on AMC.

The season premiere of Queen Sugar will air on a special night – June 20 – on OWN at 10 PM. The series will then move to its regular timeslot tomorrow night, June 21, at 10 PM. That same night, The Haves and the Have Nots will return for the rest of its fourth season on OWN at 9 PM.

On June 21, the season finale of Fargo will air on FX at 10 PM. That same night, the season finale of Gomorrah is expected to air on SundanceTV at 10 PM.

The new Spike TV drama The Mist will debut on June 22 at 10 PM, starring Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings), Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under), Isiah Whitlock, Jr. (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Darren Pettie (Madam Secretary and Ringer) and Morgan Spector (Allegiance and Person of Interest). Also on that night, the season premiere of The Night Shift will air on NBC at 10 PM.

On June 23, The Originals will air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM.

The Hallmark Channel movie My Favorite Wedding will debut on June 24 at 9 PM, starring Maggie Lawson (Psych) and Paul Greene (When Calls the Heart).

Lastly on June 25, the Starz drama Power will air its season premiere at 9 PM while the season premiere of Preacher will air on a special night [also on June 25] and time on AMC at 10 PM. The show will then move to its regular timeslot on Monday, June 26 at 9 PM.

SERIES NEWS

BBC America has announced that actress Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy) has been cast in the lead role of the network’s upcoming original series Killing Eve. The 8-episode drama thriller will revolve around a psychopathic assassin and the woman charged with hunting her down. The series will be a combination of brutal mischief making and pathos, filled with sharp humor, originality and high stakes action based on the novellas by Luke Jennings. (TV Fanatic)

CASTING NEWS

Actor Jason O’Mara (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) has joined the cast of the Amazon series The Man In the High Castle as a series regular. He will play Wyatt Price, who fled the war in Europe emigrating with his family from Ireland to New York as refugees, then fled west again ahead of the Nazi invasion. Like most in the Neutral Zone, he’s learned to survive as a hustler, trading in various black market goods and services. But he’s more than just a survivor – he believes in what America was and what the Neutral Zone still is – a melting pot worth saving. (Deadline)

Actor Zachary Levi (Chuck) has joined the cast of Psych: The Movie, the 2-hour holiday movie that the USA Network has ordered based on the hit TV series. He will play Thin White Duke, a ruthless, mysterious and dashing villain of the highest order. The movie will pick up three years after the series finale as the gang reunites after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. All of the cast, including James Roday, Dule Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen and Kirsten Nelson reprising their roles. The movie is slated to air in December. (Deadline)

Actor Morris Chestnut (Rosewood) will star opposite Billy Bob Thornton in the upcoming second season of Amazon’s original drama series Goliath, which is slated to premiere next year. He will play Chief Deputy District Attorney Hakeem Rashad, who was on the losing side of Billy’s (Thornton) last criminal case and has a bitter, old grudge against him. (Deadline)

Actor Bill Zane (Titanic) will guest star in an upcoming episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow where he will play Barnum & Bailey Circus founder P. T. Barnum. (TV Guide)
