The Lifetime movie The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel will debut on April 11 at 8 PM.
The film tells the dramatic, musical tale of “Gospel’s Dreamgirls” — the highest selling female gospel group in history. Credited with bringing Gospel to the mainstream, the five Clark sisters–as well as their trailblazing mother–overcame humble beginnings in Detroit, abuse, loss, rejection, betrayal, and sibling rivalries to achieve international fame as icons of the Gospel music industry.
The cast includes Aunjanue Ellis, Angela Birchett, Raven Goodwin, Christina Bell, Shelea Frazier and Kierra Sheard.
Executive producers of the movie are Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott.
