Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On April 13, the new 10-part series Paradise Lost will debut on Spectrum online. Set in small town Mississippi, this southern gothic mystery follows prodigal son, Yates Forsythe (Josh Hartnett), as he returns to his hometown with his wife, Frances (Bridget Regan) – a woman very new to this very old community. As explosive secrets become unearthed, Yates’ loyalties are tested as he struggles to choose between his past and his future. The cast includes Barbara Hershey, Elaine Hendrix, Nick Nolte and Silas Weir Mitchell.
The new ABC series The Baker and the Beauty will debut on April 13 at 10 PM. Daniel Garcia (Victor Rasuk) is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton, an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life moves into the spotlight. The series also stars Carlos Gomez, Lisa Vidal, Nathalie Kelley and Dan Bucatinsky.
Also on April 13, the season finale of Briarpatch will debut on the USA Network at 11 PM.
The season finale of New Amsterdam will air on NBC on April 14 at 10 PM.
On April 15, the new Hulu drama Mrs. America will debut online. The drama the story of the movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and the unexpected backlash led by a conservative woman named Phyllis Schlafly (Cate Blanchett). Through the eyes of the women of that era – both Schlafly and second wave feminists Gloria Steinem (Rose Byrne), Betty Friedan (Tracey Ullman), Shirley Chisholm, (Uzo Aduba) Bella Abzug (Margo Martindale) and Jill Ruckelshaus (Elizabeth Banks) – the series explores how one of the toughest battlegrounds in the culture wars of the 70s helped give rise to the Moral Majority and forever shifted our political landscape. The ensemble cast includes James Marsden, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Melanie Lynskey, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson Aria Graynor and John Slattery.
The “finales” of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. will air on NBC on April 15 at 8 PM, 9 PM and 10 PM. Please check your local listings for the exact airing order.
Also on April 15, Riverdale will return to The CW with new episodes starting tonight at 8 PM.
The new Netflix series Outer Banks will debut online on April 15. A tight-knit group of teens unearths a long-buried secret, setting off a chain of illicit events that takes them on an adventure they’ll never forget. The series stars Charles Esten, Madison Bailey, Caroline Arapoglou, Drew Starkey and Madelyn Cline.
On April 16, new episodes of Katy Keene will begin tonight at 8 PM followed by the season premiere of In the Dark will air on The CW at 9 PM. That same night, April 16, the season finale of Devs will air on Hulu.
The series finale of Strike Back will air on Cinemax on April 17 at 10 PM while that same night, April 17, the 6th season premiere of Bosch will air on Amazon online.
Lastly on April 18, the new Hallmark Channel movie Nature of Love will debut at 9 PM. City girl Katie (Emilie Ullerup) is writing a magazine feature on a glamping resort. Far from sporty, she faces her fears trying the camp’s activities with help from Will (Christopher Russell), a rugged outdoorsman and nature guide.
