Here is the short list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On July 24, the Netflix sequel movie The Kissing Booth 2 will debut online. After a romantic summer together, Noah (Jacob Elordi) is off to Harvard, and Elle (Joey King) heads back to high school for her senior year. The cast includes Joel Courtney, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Molly Ringwald.
The Netflix film Radioactive will also debut online on July 24. Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl and Pride and Prejudice) stars as Polish-born physicist Marie (Skłodowska) Curie, who despite not being taken seriously as a woman in a male-dominated field, forged ahead with her studies, along with her husband Pierre, discovering the elements radium and polonium, changing the world.
Also on July 24, the Australian-New Zealand dramedy 800 Words will debut on US TV via UPtv, airing at 8 PM. George Turner is a popular columnist for a top-selling Sydney newspaper, writing a weekly column which he insists must be exactly 800 words. After his wife dies, he buys (over the internet and unseen) a new home in a (fictional) small New Zealand seaside town called Weld, where his parents took him on holiday as a child. He then has to break the news to his two teenage children, Shay and Arlo. But the colorful and inquisitive locals in Weld ensure Turner’s dream of a fresh start does not go exactly to plan.
The Ovation mini-series Agatha Christie’s Partners in Crime will air its season finale on July 25 at 7 PM.
Lastly on July 26, the fourth season of Wynonna Earp will premiere on Syfy at 10 PM.
Mark your calendars!
