Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On March 1, the new sci-fi drama Debris will debut on NBC at 10:01 PM. When wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft scatters across the Western Hemisphere, it soon becomes apparent the pieces are messing with the laws of physics, changing lives in ways we can’t comprehend. Two agents from different continents, and different mindsets, are tasked to work together to recover the debris, whose mysteries humankind is not quite ready for. The cast includes Riann Steele (The Magicians) and Jonathan Tucker (City on a Hill and Westworld).
The 7th season premiere of The Flash will air on The CW on March 2 at 8 PM followed by the time slot premiere of the new series Superman & Lois at 9 PM.
Also on March 2, the season premiere of New Amsterdam will air on NBC at 10:01 PM.
The Netflix movie Moxie will debut online on March 3. Fed up with the sexist and toxic status quo at her high school, a shy 16-year-old (Hadley Robinson) finds inspiration from her mother’s (Amy Poehler – who also directed the movie) rebellious past and anonymously publishes a zine that sparks a school-wide, coming-of-rage revolution. The cast includes Josephine Langford (the movie After), Patrick Schwarzenegger, Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD), Marcia Gay Harden and Ike Barinholtz.
On March 5, the finale of WandaVision will air on Disney+ online.
The new Hulu action adventure film Boss Level will debut online on March 5. Frank Grillo (Kingdom and the MC Universe alum) stars as Roy Pulver, a former soldier who finds himself living in an infinite time loop inhabited by a cadre of assassins who take turns killing him over and over again. After many (and we mean many) deaths, a sarcastic and jaded Roy attempts to discover the true reason behind the loop, while trying to save his ex-wife, Jemma (Naomi Watts), and son, Joe (Grillo’s own son Rio), from Colonel Clive Ventor (Mel Gibson), a villain with a serious god complex. To reach — let alone defeat — the titular final baddie, Pulver must understand his enemies’ strengths and weaknesses, which inspires him to train with a legendary sword-master named Dai Feng (Michelle Yeoh).
Also on March 5, the Amazon feature film Coming 2 America will debut online. Set after the events of the first film, former Prince Akeem Joffer (Edide Murphy) is set to become King of Zamunda when he discovers he has a son he never knew about in America – a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle (Jermaine Fowler). Honoring his royal father’s (James Earl Jones) dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set off to America once again. The ensemble cast includes Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Kiki Layne, Morgan Freeman, Vanessa Bell Calloway, John Amos, Wesley Snipes, Shari Headley and Garcelle Beauvais.
The mid-season premiere of the 4th and final season of Wynonna Earp will air on Syfy at 10 PM on March 5.
Additionally on March 5, the new animated film Raya and the Last Dragon will debut on Disney+. Long ago, in the world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran), and her pet pill bug companion Tuk Tuk (voiced by Alan Tudyk), to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than dragon magic to save the world—it’s going to take trust as well. Other voices will be provided by Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sandra Oh, Benedict Wong and Ross Butler.
On March 6, the Hallmark Channel movie Fit for a Prince will debut at 9 PM. Cindy (Natalie Hall) is an aspiring fashion designer whose talents have been the creative force behind a high-profile designer but longs to strike out on her own. Hired to dress the ladies of a wealthy family hosting an upcoming charity ball, Cindy’s life takes an unexpected turn when Prince Ronan (Jonathan Keltz), in town to attend the gala, becomes smitten with her and also takes note of her talent for design.
The 26th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards will air on The CW on March 7 at 7 PM.
Also on March 7, the UPtv movie My Birthday Romance will debut at 7 PM. Callie Fitzgerald (Ali Corbin) is tired of her family fixing her up and questioning her single status. She is determined to find a pretend boyfriend (Jesse Hutch) for her 35th birthday party just so her family will leave her alone. What she didn’t expect was to actually fall for him.
