Here is the long list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On November 9, the two-hour series finale of Supergirl will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM; while that same night, the season finale of American Crime Story: Impeachment will air on FX at 10 PM.
The Netflix feature film Passing will debut online on November 10. Mixed-race childhood friends reunite in middle class adulthood and become increasingly involved with one another’s lives and insecurities. While Irene (Tessa Thompson) identifies as African-American and is married to a black doctor (Andre Holland), Clare (Ruth Negga) “passes” as white and has married a prejudiced, but wealthy white man (Alexander Skarsgard). Gbenga Akinnagbe also stars.
On November 10, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. will air its season finale on Disney+ online; while the 55th Annual CMA Awards will also air on ABC on November 10 at 8 PM.
The British sci-fi short-lived series Intergalactic, that aired on Peacock here in the US, will get its network TV debut on Syfy with a back-to-back series premiere at 10 and 11 PM. The year 2143. After sky cop Harper (Savannah Steyn) is framed for a crime, she is placed on board prisoner transport ship the Hemlock bound for an off-planet prison. On board she is thrown into the melee of a mutiny stirred up by a band of hardened female criminals who threaten to kill her if she doesn’t fly them to safety… Climate change has affected the planet and the world’s cities, now mostly under new structures, are controlled by a pseudo democratic government called the ″Commonworld″. The cast includes Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark), Parminder Nagra (Bend It Like Beckham), Phyllis Logan (Downton Abbey) and Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Black Sails).
On November 11, the BET+ holiday movie Soul Santa will debut online. When an unlucky businessman gambles away the mob’s money, he is forced to go on the run and hide out as a shopping mall Santa Claus. The movie stars David Mann, Tamela Mann, Brooke Monroe Conaway, Christopher Gurr andRoss Fleming.
The season finale of Doom Patrol will air on HBO Max online on November 11.
Also on November 11, the new thriller Ragdoll will debut online on AMC+. Six people have been murdered, dismembered and sewn into the shape of one grotesque body – nicknamed the ‘Ragdoll’. Assigned to this shocking case are newly-reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Henry Lloyd-Hughes); his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter (Thalissa Teixeira); and the unit’s new recruit, DC Lake Edmunds (Lucy Hale). The ‘Ragdoll Killer’ taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims, with Rose’s name at the very end. And with those victims to protect, our heroes soon come under intense public scrutiny. A gruesomely imaginative serial killer thriller, Ragdoll captures the fascinating but flawed friends struggling with the consequences of institutionalization and trauma.
The reboot of The Game will premiere on Paramount+ online on November 11. Relocating from San Diego to Sin City, the series returns with a mix of new players and original cast to offer a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. Returning cast members include Wendy Raquel Robinson, Brittany Daniel, Coby Bell and Pooch Hall. Tim Daly also stars.
On November 12, the Netflix feature film Red Notice will debut online. An Interpol-issued red notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Dwayne Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen. The cast also includes Chris Diamantopoulos.
The Lifetime holiday movie An Ice Wine Christmas will debut at 8 PM on November 12. One of Philadelphia’s top sommeliers, Camila (Roselyn Sánchez) goes home to the magical vineyards of Evergreen, New York to take part in the town’s annual Ice Wine Christmas Festival and harvest. While there, she spends time with her mother and sister who manage the local winery for Camila’s former ice wine mentor. But Camila discovers changes are coming as Henry plans to retire, scaling down the Christmas festival. Beth also recently hired wine specialist Declan (Lyriq Bent), who plans to take the operation to full-year production. Believing in the importance of preserving the magic of ‘Christmas in a bottle,’ Camila shares with Declan her passion for Christmas and what an authentic ice wine harvest can bring.
On November 12, the Disney+ movie Home Sweet Home Alone will debut online. Much like the original Home Alone, this new entry in the franchise is about a boy, Max (Archie Yates), who is left home alone around Christmastime and has to protect his house. The film also stars Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney and Kenan Thompson.
The Hallmark Channel holiday movie Open By Christmas will debut on November 12 at 8 PM. When Nicky finds an unopened Christmas card from a high school secret admirer, she and her best friend Simone search to find and thank the anonymous author. The film stars Alison Sweeney, Erica Durance and Brennan Elliott.
On November 13, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday movie One December Night will debut at 10 PM. Two music managers must put their history aside to oversee the televised reunion performance of their rock star fathers with a fractured past. The film stars Eloise Mumford, Brett Dalton, Peter Gallagher, Bruce Campbell and Didi Conn.
The holiday movie Christmas Time Is Here will debut on GAC Family at 8 PM on November 13. Nia Donnelley (Rukiya Bernard), a successful small-town realtor, has her heart set on closing a big sale on a new resort in her hometown of Pine Valley just in time for Christmas to her client Julian Parsons (Dewshane Williams). There is only one hitch. No matter how many properties Nia shows Julian, he keeps coming back to the one resort that isn’t for sale: the one belonging to Nia’s widower dad, Patrick. Patrick would like to sell the property and retire. It’s Nia who cannot let go of memories of an idyllic time in life when her mom was still alive and very much a part of the resort. Julian realizes Nia’s reluctance to sell the property, but it may not matter. Julian’s impatient boss has come to Pine Valley intent on getting the deal done before Christmas. At risk of losing his job, Julian comes up with a magical plan for saving Nia’s family’s resort.
On November 13, A Picture Perfect Holiday is the latest holiday movie to debut on Lifetime at 8 PM. Fashion photographer Gaby Jones (Tatyana Ali) is eager to make a name for herself and finally gets her chance when she lands a coveted job at a magazine. Encouraged by an editor (Dina Meyer) to attend the annual Christmas photography retreat in the small town of Pine Falls to ramp up her skills, Gaby reluctantly signs up despite not being a huge fan of the holidays. When she arrives, she learns her rental has been double-booked with wildlife photographer Sean (Henderson Wade) but soon discovers there’s more to a photo than what you see through the lens. As the two fall for each other, their life choices start to get in the way and the two must decide if they’re willing to take a risk in order to share a picture-perfect holiday together.
The UPtv movie A Snowy Christmas will debut on November 13 at 7 PM. Unlucky in love city lawyer Kelly Mitchum returns home to spend Christmas with her family. As she dreams of finding her perfect man, she meets handsome contractor Forrest Newell – and he ticks all the boxes! Now, with her family’s home at risk of demolition, will Forrest be able to help? And will the magic of Christmas be enough to save it? The film stars Elysia Rotaru and Damon Runyan.
Also on November 13, the Hallmark Channel movie My Christmas Family Tree will debut at 8 PM. When Vanessa receives the results from her family tree DNA test, she discovers a family she didn’t know existed and travels to their home for Christmas. The cast includes Aimee Teegarden, Andrew Walker and James Tupper.
The new series Mayor of Kingstown will debut simultaneously on the Paramount Network on November 14 at 10 PM (after a new episode of Yellowstone) and also online on Paramount+. The series follows the powerful McLusky family (Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Taylor Handley and Kyle Chandler), power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. The cast also includes Derek Webster and Aidan Gillen. The series will move to its permanent home at Paramount+ starting next week, airing only on that streaming platform from that night forward.
On November 14, the season finale of Call the Midwife will air on PBS at 8 PM; meanwhile, the two-hour CBS special Adele One Night Only will air at 8:30 PM on November 14.
The UPtv movie Snowed in for Christmas will debut at 7 PM on November 14. Kaley (Kayla Wallace), a young Au Pair, finds herself unable to return home for the holidays when a snowstorm derails her plans. In spite of her own disappointment, she is determined to teach the girls she watches, alongside their charming uncle (Jeremy Guilbaut), the magic of Christmas.
The Showtime drama Yellowjackets will debut at 10 PM on November 14. The series focuses on the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over. The ensemble cast includes Chirstina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Warren Kole, Sophie Nelisse, Sarah Desjardins, Sammi Hanratty, Ella Purnell and Peter Gadiot.
Lastly, also on November 14, the Hallmark Channel movie A Holiday in Harlem will debut at 8 PM. After her grandmother, Mama Belle, turns away her usual gift delivery, expecting “presence over presents,” jet-setting executive Jazmin heads uptown to Harlem for a quick visit. However, when Mama Belle is injured, Jazmin agrees to stay in the neighborhood and take over co-chairing their block’s annual Christmas Jamboree with her old best friend Caleb. A successful corporate fixer, Jazmin expects the job to be easy but quickly finds that she has a lot to learn about the community and her heart. Olivia Washington, Will Adams and Tina Lifford star.
