Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On March 29, the drama Promised Land will air its final episode on Hulu online.
The 3-episode limited series The Girl From Plainville will debut online on March 29 on Hulu. The limited series is inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter’s unprecedented “texting-suicide” case that explores Carter’s relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his death and, later, her conviction of involuntary manslaughter. The series stars Elle Fanning, Chloë Sevigny, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox and Norbert Leo Butz.
On March 30, the Disney+ series Moon Knight will debut online. The series follows Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt. The series also stars Ethan Hawke and the late Gaspard Ulliel.
The Peacock drama Bel-Air, the reboot of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will air its finale online on March 31.
On March 31, the HBO Max movie Moonshot will debut online. This sci-fi romantic comedy is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer. Two college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others. The movie stars Cole Sprouse, Lana Condor and Zach Braff.
The Amazon drama Slow Horses will debut online on April 1. The six-episode drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House. Gary Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes. The cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden and Olivia Cooke.
The Disney+ feature film Better Nate Than Ever will debut online on April 1. This musical family-comedy, based on the novel of the same name, is about Nate Foster (Rueby Wood), an unpopular 13-year-old middle school student from Pittsburgh who has a goal of one day becoming a Broadway musical star. When Nate is repeatedly overlooked, and never cast in the lead roles he deserves, he and his best friend Libby (Aria Brooks), sneak away to pursue their life’s dreams in the Big Apple. A random encounter with his estranged aunt Heidi (Lisa Kudrow), turns their adventure upside-down. Only together can they make their dreams come true. Norbert Leo Butz also stars.
On April 2, the Lifetime movie Fallen Angels Murder Club: Friends to Die For will debut at 8 PM. Based on the books by R. Franklin James, Toni Braxton stars as Hollis Morgan, an ex-con turned amateur sleuth set out to investigate a series of murders at her book club. The ensemble cast includes Eddie Cibrian, Henderson Wade, Kaitlyn Leeb, Kelly Hu, Rainbow Sun Francks, Rob Stewart and Yanic Truesdale
The new movie Just One Kiss will debut on April 2 on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM. Through a series of chance encounters, sparks fly between college literature professor Mia (Krysta Rodriguez) and Tony (Santino Fontana) a head-liner at a Manhattan supper club. Unbeknownst to them, Mia’s mother Marlene (Illeana Douglas) and Tony’s mother Sofia (Aida Turturro) are working some maternal matchmaking magic.
On April 3, The Walking Dead will air its spring finale on AMC+ online while, on that same night, the 64th Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS at 8 PM.
The 2018 movie Run the Race makes its small screen debut on UPtv at 7 PM on April 3. Against the backdrop of high school football and track, two brothers in a small Southern town face escalating problems with two different world views, straining – but ultimately strengthening – the bonds of brotherhood. All-star athlete Zach Truett finds glory on the high school football field — working to earn a college scholarship and a ticket out of town. When a devastating knee injury forces Zach to the sidelines, his brother laces up his cleats to compete in track and field. The cast includes Kristoffer Polaha, Kelsey Reinhardt, Evan Hofer and Tanner Stine.
Lastly, also on April 3, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Always Amore will debut at 9 PM. Elizabeth (Autumn Reeser), with the support of her mother-in-law Nonna (Patty McCormack), is doing everything she can to keep her late husband’s once-acclaimed – but now struggling – Italian restaurant afloat. With business going downhill, she is forced to work with a professional restaurant consultant, Ben (Tyler Hynes), to see if they can turn things around. At first, Elizabeth resists the changes Ben believes will save the restaurant, but as they get closer, Elizabeth realizes that not all change is bad. She rediscovers her passion for baking and might even open her heart to new love.
