The small screen series adaptation of the box office movie A League of Their Own will debut online on Amazon on August 12.
This version will tell the story of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball, taking a deeper look at race and sexuality, following the journey of a whole new ensemble of characters as they carve their own paths towards the field, both in the League and outside of it.
The cast includes Dale Dickey, D’Arcy Carden, Kelly McCormack, Nick Offerman, Abbi Jacobson, Alex Desert and Melanie Field [among others].
