Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On August 23, the season finale of Only Murders in the Building will air online today on Hulu; and that same night, the series finale of Motherland: Fort Salem will air on Freeform at 10 PM.
The new drama Mike will debut online on August 25 on Hulu. The 8-episode limited series explores the tumultuous ups and downs of the boxing career and personal life of Mike Tyson (Trevante Rhodes) – from being a beloved global athlete to a pariah and back again. The cast includes Grace Zabriskie, Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier and Russell Hornsby.
On August 25, the new Peacock drama Everything I Know About Love will debut online. The central love story of Everything I Know About Love is between childhood best friends Maggie and Birdy. But it is also a raucous girl gang show, set in a 2012 London house-share inhabited by four girls – Maggie, Birdy and their mates from university, Amara and Nell. The cast includes Bel Powley, Emma Appleton, Marli Siu, Aliyah Odoffin, Jordan Peters and Connor Finch.
The third and final season of See will debut online on Apple TV+ on August 26.
Also on August 26, the new Netflix series Partner Track will debut online. At an elite New York City law firm, Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho from Teen Wolf, the MTV thriller series) fights to make partner, and hold onto her principles, while balancing romance, friends and family expectations. The series also stars Dominic Sherwood (Shadowhunters) and Nolan Gerard Funk (The Flight Attendant and Awkward.).
On August 27, the GAC Family movie Love in Bloom will debut at 8 PM. Amelia (Susie Abromeit) has the perfect life; a successful floristry in Chicago and a boyfriend who is about to propose. When her soon-to-be-married little sister and fiancé become marooned at a mountain retreat days before their wedding in Primrose River Australia, Amelia and the Best Man, Grayson Tanner (Julian Haig), are tasked with stepping in to save the wedding. Amelia finds new meaning in the town’s beautiful gardens, and love when she least expects it.
The new Hallmark Channel movie Game, Set, Love will debut on August 27 at 8 PM. Former pro tennis player Taylor (Davida Williams) reluctantly agrees to coach her former doubles partner Ashley (Jennifer Khoe) and her new partner Will (Richard Harmon), who needs to repair his reputation and career. Although Taylor and Will clash at first, she’s surprised to discover a different side to him. Even more surprising is when Taylor finds herself entering the tournament with Will after Ashley is sidelined by an injury. As they get ready to compete, the pair learns they just may be a perfect match. The film also stars Tracy Austin.
On August 28, the UPtv movie Styled With Love will debut at 7 PM. Moving from small town Iowa to Chicago, an ambitious personal stylist hires a professional photographer to help promote her new fashion venture; a partnership which teaches her that when it comes to finding love and success in the city, all you need to do is stay true to the style in your own heart. The cast includes Cory Lee, Dennis Andres and Kathy Maloney.
The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Unthinkably Good Things will debut on August 28 at 9 PM. The inaugural movie from the Mahogany division of Hallmark, this made-for-TV movie focuses on Allison (Karen Pittman), who is at a crossroads in her career and love life. She is in need of the love and support of her two friends Melina (Joyful Drake) and Reesa (Erica Ash). When they visit her in Tuscany, the reunion causes each woman to reexamine the state of her own life and relationships. While they have different personalities and perspectives, they know each other’s truths and help to make life-changing decisions. The cast includes Jermaine Love and Lance Gross.
Lastly, on August 28, the series finale of Animal Kingdom will air on TNT at 9 PM and that same night, the MTV Video Music Awards will air on MTV at 8 PM.
