Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On February 28, the season finale of La Brea will air on NBC at the special time of 10 PM
The third season of The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ on March 1.
On March 1, the small screen adaptation of True Lies will debut on CBS at 10 PM. The series follows Harry Tasker (Steve Howey), a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), a language professor bored with her daily routine, who makes the shocking discovery that her seemingly ordinary husband is leading an extraordinary double life. With the secret out, Omega recruits Helen, who impresses everyone with her formidable skills (thanks to Tae Bo and yoga), and she joins Harry and his team of top-notch operatives, embarking on covert missions around the globe and an exhilarating life of danger and adventure – all while keeping their adventures a secret from their children.
On March 2, the second season of Sex/Life will premiere on Netflix; while that same night the season finale of Mystic will air on UPtv at 8 PM. Also on March 2, Walker Independence will air its season finale on The CW at 9 PM and that same night the winter return of Alaska Daily will air on ABC at 10:01 PM.
The new Amazon Prime drama Daisy Jones & the Six will debut on March 3. This limited, musical-drama series details the rise and precipitous fall of a renowned rock band (reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac). In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two charismatic lead singers – Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin) – the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers. The cast also includes Suki Waterhouse, Tom Wright, Josh Whitehouse, Will Harrison, Nabiyah Be, Camila Morrone, Sebastian Chacon and Timothy Olyphant.
On March 4, the Hallmark Channel movie The Love Club: Nicole’s Pen Pal will debut at 8 PM. Freshly engaged interior designer, Nicole (Brittany Bristow), still wonders if the one she is meant to be with is her mystery college pen pal whose letters she has kept all these years. At a loss of what to do, she seeks out assistance from The Love Club – four women who met 10 years prior and made a vow to always be there for one another should any of them encounter relationship challenges at any point in their lives. Nicole and the ladies of The Love Club reunite and set out to track down Nicole’s pen pal, sending them on a journey to a lodge in the mountains where Nicole encounters romance, comedic imposters, female bonding, and plenty of mishaps until ultimately, the letters help lead her to her true love. Marcus Rosner co-stars.
The UPtv movie Something’s Brewing will debut at 7 PM on March 5. Jane Peterson (Kristi Murdoch), a marketing executive in the big city, loses her job and boyfriend both on the same day. Fed up, she vows to leave the city for good. Before she can though, she runs into a handsome and charming barista at a local coffee shop. As she rediscovers the city with him, it feels like something might be brewing.
Lastly, also on March 5, the original telefilm Married By Mistake will debut on E! at 9 PM. After learning that her dream job has fallen through, Riley (Chloe Bennet) has a drunken night out with her best friend Nate (Blair Penner) only to find themselves the next morning in Las Vegas and married. With no job prospects on the horizon, Riley takes Nate up on his offer to move back to his hometown in Tennessee to help rescue his family’s business. Riley’s determination to make a name for herself in the company is complicated by the arrival of Nate’s ex-girlfriend and his attractive older brother. Will Riley and Nate be able to keep up the ruse, or will romances both new and old get in the way? The film also stars Anthony Konechny.
