Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On May 11, the new Acorn TV drama The Island will debut online. This Gaelic crime drama begins when Kat Crichton (Sorcha Groundsell), a young Family Liaison Officer, is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of the wife of a local tycoon at a remote island mansion. The murder investigation unravels on the island of Leis and Harris, from where Kat mysteriously fed ten years ago – revealing a tense, twisting story of lies, loss and long-buried secrets.
The season finale of NCIS will air on CBS at 8 PM and the season finale of NCIS: Sydney will air at the special time of 9 PM on May 12.
Also on May 12, the Disney+ one-off event The Punisher: One Last Kill will debut online. As Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.
The series finale of Good Omens will air on Amazon Prime online on May 13; while that same day, NBC will air its season finales of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will all air tonight at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.
Also on May 13, the new Amazon Prime drama Off Campus will debut online. A college-set romantic drama based on the best-selling book series by Elle Kennedy, chronicles the unexpected love story between a music student and the university’s star hockey player (Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli), exploring themes of love and the complexities of adulthood through deep friendships and enduring bonds. The cast includes Steve Howey, Jalen Thomas Brooks and Chad Willett.
The new Netflix drama Nemesis will debut online on May 14. The series follows the tale of what happens when an unstoppable force, an expert criminal Coltrane Wilder (Y’lan Noel) meets an immovable object, a brilliant police detective Isaiah Stiles (Matthew Law).
Also on May 14, the season finales of Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will air on NBC at 8 and 9 PM respectively followed by the Peacock drama M.I.A. getting a special linear TV debut at 10 PM.
The new Amazon Prime drama It’s Not Like That will make its official streaming debut online on May 15 (after already being available on Amazon’s Wonder Project). The faith-based series follows Malcolm (Scott Foley), a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom with parenthood. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?
Also on May 15, the first two episodes of Dutton Ranch, the latest spin-off from the Paramount Network drama Yellowstone, will debut online on Paramount+. As Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul. The cast includes Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Finn Little, Jai Courtney, Juan Pablo Raba, Natalie Alyn Lind and JR Villarreal.
The series finale of the long-running period piece Starz drama Outlander will air on May 15 at 8 PM; meanwhile, that same day, part one of the second season of Rivals will premiere online on Hulu.
On May 16, the Lifetime movie Faith & Forgiveness: A Duck Dynasty Love Story will air at 8 PM. This movie is based on a powerful true story about a love tested, broken, and ultimately rebuilt. Starring Ramm and Benward, the movie follows two people finding their way back to each other, discovering that real love isn’t perfect… It’s a choice made every single day. Lisa and Al Robertson (Haley Ramm and Luke Benward), known from Duck Dynasty, fell hard and fast, believing they had found a once-in-a-lifetime love. But over time, the life they imagined together is strained by betrayal and the weight of unspoken pain. What began as a deep connection slowly fractures, leaving them both lost and searching for something more. When the truth finally comes to light, Lisa is forced to confront everything she thought she knew about love, loyalty, and herself. With their marriage and faith hanging by a thread, both must decide if love is worth fighting for, and what it truly means to forgive.
The Hallmark Channel movie Hannah Swensen Mystery: Best Served Cold will debut on May 16 at 8 PM. When a suspect in a forgery case is murdered and the prosecutor goes missing, Hannah and Chad (Alison Sweeney and Victor Webster) must uncover how the two cases are connected and solve them in time for the trial. Barbara Niven also stars.
Lastly on May 17, the 61st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air online on Amazon Prime.
