The Lifetime movie Angel in the Rubble: The Genelle Guzman Story will debut at 8 PM on September 12.

Genelle Guzman‑McMillan (played by Sherri Shepherd), who was born in Trinidad and working on the 64th floor of the North Tower, became the final person rescued alive after the collapse on September 11, 2001.

Her memoir, on which this movie is loosely based, detailed the moments before the attack, the collapse, her long entrapment and the spiritual reflections that sustained her until rescue.

Miraculously, she survived 27 hours under concrete and steel before being found by rescuers; and while trapped, she revisited memories of childhood miracles and rediscovered her faith.
