Q&A SECTION (with TV Scoop Team at E! Online, Natalie Abrams at TV Guide and Matt Mitovich at TV Line)

Question: I saw Marc Guggenheim tease on Twitter that someone will say “I love you” in the Arrow finale. Any scoop on who says it?! – Carly

TV Scoop Team: “I can’t say s–t about that!” Stephen Amell said when we asked if Oliver is the one dropping those three little words. “I can’t say anything about that line!” However, Amell teased, “Possibly the loudest reaction from viewers in the finale will take place in a moment of complete silence.”

Question: I cannot get over Revenge’s finale! David Clarke’s return was insane! But will Emily’s mother also return in season four? – Meghan S.

TV Scoop Team: Kara is still out there, so it’s a definite possibility, showrunner Sunil Nayar hinted to us. “She’s definitely come up in conversations. Season four is going to be much more about the nature of Emily’s family as opposed to the Grayson family than it’s ever been before,” he spilled. “She’s someone we’re talking about, but we haven’t figured out the stories yet, but we love her and we love the character. You never know, she could pop up.”

Question: I’m still processing that Castle cliff-hanger. Who ran Castle’s car off the road? — Linda

Natalie: Although there are a number of possibilities (3XK comes to mind, for example), it sounds like at least one person isn’t involved: the recently arrested Sen. William Bracken. “I think that aspect of the mythology is closed now,” creator Andrew W. Marlowe says. “Beckett knows who killed her mother. If there’s further storytelling there, I think we’re going to be breaking new ground.” And for those fans miffed that we didn’t get to see Castle and Beckett’s wedding, look on the bright side: The show will have a fresh budget to work with in Season 7! “That’s right,” Marlowe says with a laugh. “We were running on fumes, financially, at the end of this year.” When can we expect our diamond-encrusted invite?

Question: I’m confused about The Blacklist. Did the burn scars on Red’s back mean that he’s Liz’s father? — Evan

Natalie: Creator Jon Bokenkamp thought he made it pretty clear in our postmortem that Red is not Liz’s dad, but I went back to the source to double check. “All I would say is that Red was obviously there during that fire,” Bokenkamp says. “Or so it would seem. Don’t think it means he’s her father — he has said no to that question, after all.” Everybody clear now?

Question: Is this the final chapter for 24 or do you think there will be more? — Brandon

Natalie: No official decisions have been made at this point, but there’s at least one person who’s confident the show will go on. “When [the idea] was first delivered…it was delivered as this is wrapping up the franchise,” Mary Lynn Rajskub says. “But when the rewrites came back… it must have felt fresh enough [because] everyone was really happy. I would be really surprised if they didn’t do more after this installment.” Whether or not that turns out to be true, the writers certainly aren’t approaching this as the ultimate ending. “We’re not going to kill him, I can guarantee you that,” co-creator and executive producer Robert Cochran says.

Question: I need more Once Upon a Time scoop! — Karen

Natalie: Now that Rumple has pledged his life to Belle, he’s going to have a tough time lying to her about his role in Zelena’s death. Could this be the first crack in his seemingly unbreakable façade? “It’s probably not going to be easy for him,” executive producer Adam Horowitz tells me. “Those were genuine vows and he loves Belle, but he’s got his own weaknesses that he has to fight.” It’s like they always say: The best marriages are the ones built on lies! (What? No one says that?)

Question: Does Branch survive on Longmire? — Caleb

Natalie: Being shot is actually the least of Branch’s worries when the drama returns for Season 3. Suffice it to say, Branch is not in top condition when he sets out to find the White Warrior who shot him. His failing health impairs his judgment in a way that makes it nearly impossible for him to keep the trust of those around him — especially Cady, who has a particularly scary run-in with Branch in the premiere.

Question: How long will Layla and Will be able to keep up their reality show charade on Nashville? — Michael

Natalie: Not very long! “He is the kind of guy who cracks under pressure,” Chris Carmack says. “With this reality show, the camera’s on him 24/7. He can’t punch a wall and then apologize and be good old Will.” When that pressure reaches fever pitch in the finale, Will is forced to have an extremely uncomfortable conversation with Layla. But will that conversation stay private?

Question: I can’t wait for Graceland to return! — Laura

Natalie: Fortunately for you, I’ve already screened the premiere. Needless to say Mike won’t be away from Graceland for long. And while his return from D.C. won’t please everyone, there’s at least one party eagerly awaiting his arrival: the Caza Cartel, which has put a price on Mike’s head!

Question: What can you tease about the Arrow finale? — Tiger

Natalie: Diggle and Deadshot will cross paths again when Arrow’s right-hand man is tasked with preventing A.R.G.U.S. from destroying Starling City. “There’s a fairly big development with Diggle in the finale that will set up his story for next year,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim teases. “We get to see Amanda Waller again, and the episode helps explain how Amanda knows so much about Oliver Queen.”

Question: I am dying for any scoop on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Please tell me you have something. –Dee

Mitovich: As a matter of fact, just as the season finale faded to black on Tuesday night, we asked Clark Gregg about Coulson’s plum new job title. “It’s a very important gig,” he acknowledged. “I saw it [Monday] night for the first time myself, and I got choked up watching it. As someone who grew up reading the S.H.I.E.L.D. comics, I kind of couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It is a big deal” — especially given the second post-credits scene, which suggested that all is not right in Coulson’s mind. “I think it’s interesting that Director Fury gave Agent Coulson this job, given that he still has GH-325 pumping through him,” Gregg observed. “We don’t know 100 percent what he is, but we’ll see what happens. It’ll be an exciting Season 2.”

Question: Is there now going to be tension again between Once Upon a Time’s Emma and Regina? They developed so well this season! –Tass

Mitovich: While Jennifer Morrison concurs that it was “cool and interesting” to explore “this idea of these adversaries finding common ground to save Henry,” she also says, “It makes sense that we’re going back to a place where these two women are going to be adversaries.” Surveying Emma’s bit of time travel tampering, she adds, “Emma definitely wants Regina to be with Robin, and she never would have intentionally done anything to hurt that. But she’d also never let someone die in the circumstance that [Marian] was in. So it’s one of those situations where doing the right thing is going to have terrible repercussions. But I think it’s good for the show. We should have conflict between Regina and Emma, because that’s where the show got its feet in the first place,”

Question: Besides Elsa, can we expect other Frozen characters to show up on Once Upon a Time? Maybe a CGI Olaf? –Heather

Mitovich: I like warm hugs and my sons and I love Olaf, so I was sure to ask Adam and Eddy precisely that: Do you wanna build a CGI snowman? They responded with a laugh, followed by a firm, “No comment.”

Question: In the new season of Major Crimes (premiering June 9), is there a chance for a deeper development of a friendship between Sharon and Andy? If yes, is there a chance for anything romantic? –Ilona

Mitovich: “They’re getting closer…,” Tony Dennison, who plays Det. Flynn, told me this morning. “I don’t really know the specific details about how it will progress, but it seems like it is progressing. I mean, they’re been going out for dinners and stuff, so

Question: Do you have any spoilers on The Vampire Diaries and on The Originals and on Pretty Little Liars? –Nancy

Mitovich: Pretty Little Liars it is! I’m hearing that the Liars are heading back to Radley Sanitarium — and they’ve got company. A Season 5 episode will introduce viewers to “Big Rhonda,” a 19-year-old patient described as “unkempt, disruptive and unsettling.” Somehow I don’t see her fitting into the girls’ inner circle.

Question: It wasn’t right how Castle Season 6 ended, but I do believe it has something to do with Castle’s dad. Is he going to make an appearance in Season 7? –Nola

Mitovich: When I asked show boss Andrew W. Marlowe if he had in mind a third beat for the Jackson Hunt/Spy Daddy storyline, he said, “There’s always stuff floating in the back of our minds, but it all depends on [James] Brolin’s availability and finding a story that makes sense and honors the characters.” So I myself am speculating no, Castle’s dad was not involved in that finale twist.

Question: The Nashville finale promo is driving me mad. Please tell me Rayna doesn’t get engaged to Luke. –S.D.

Mitovich: Will Chase, who will become a series regular in Season 3, played it right down the middle when we felt him out about just that. “Oh, you know TV — it could be yes and it could be no. Or I could be in a car crash and all of a sudden be, like, evil,” he shared with a laugh. “My gut says that Luke and Rayna will end up [together], but you never know.” And yet, we’d think he knows, right?

Question: What did Orphan Black‘s Mrs. S. mean when she said she knew “what” Sarah is? –Claire

Mitovich: That is the million-dollar question the latest episode left us with, but Maria Doyle Kennedy won’t disclose any details. “I do feel that she has a lot more information than anybody realizes,” she says. After parting ways with Carlton all those years ago, “I think she went to investigate as much as she could everything surrounding Carlton and Sarah and their lives together in order to protect herself, so that she would have as much information as she could,” the actress ventures. “That was she was always one move ahead of anybody who might be coming after her.”

That’s it. Enjoy!

Q&A SECTION (with Michael Ausiello at TV Line)

Question: Please, any scoop about Revenge? —Julien

Ausiello: Sunday’s season finale isn’t just gonna be nuts, it’s gonna be an entire display case of Payday bars. We’re talking handcuffs for one major character, toe tags for two others, the emergence of a new scheme team and a scene that’s so horrifying, it’ll make Pascal’s death-by-helicopter-blade seem mercifully tame by comparison.

Question: Is there any hope for Bash and Mary on Reign? —Sara

Ausiello: Don’t shoot the messenger, Sara, but star Toby Regbo tells TVLine that Reign‘s original love triangle is no more. “The writers might come back and turn it on its head, but for the most part, the show has entered a different [chapter],” he explains. “I don’t think people expected things to settle down that quickly; Francis and Mary were married by Episode 13. So this whole Team Bash/Team Francis thing they set up … that part of the show has shifted.”

Question: I love Major Crimes and I can’t wait to watch it again! Do you have some spoilers or info for us? –Luana

Ausiello: Jon Tenney will reprise his role as G-man Fritz in at least one early episode of Season 3, which opens June 9. Alas, still no signs of wife Brenda Leigh!

Question: Are we going to meet Will’s “friend” from Texas on Nashville this season? They keep alluding to him. —Kelly

Ausiello: We put that question to series creator Callie Khouri and here’s what she said: “Not this season.” (I’ll take that to mean we’ll be meeting him next season. Or never.)

Question: I know it’s probably early yet, but anything on the huge, final season of Haven? –Amy

Ausiello: Could the Syfy series possibly end with the titular town cured of all its troubles? That’s something to ponder as the show sets out to cast the recurring role of a military vet/doctor who comes to suspect that science might be able to snuff the supernatural.

Question: Even with addition of the Knave next season on Once Upon a Time, is there any chance Robin Hood could become a series regular? I love him and Regina together! —Robyn

Ausiello: Even though series co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis are both fans of Sean Maguire’s work as the Prince of Thieves, “It’s too soon to say,” Kitsis answered when we ran your Q by them. “I would wait and see.”

That’s it. Enjoy!

(Tracking Board and The Wrap)

Q&A SECTION (with Natalie Abrams at TV Guide and TV Scoop Team at E! Online)

Question: I’m so glad 24 is back. What’s coming up? — Casey

Natalie: Though it was fun to see Jack and Chloe at odds in the premiere, the ice between the two will thaw a little when Chloe fills Jack in on the last four years of her life — including a particularly heartbreaking story about some of Chloe’s loved ones. (Suddenly, Chloe’s Girl with the Dragon Tattoo get-up will make much more sense.) Unfortunately, whatever progress the former partners make will go out the window when a member of Chloe’s team tries to double-cross Jack.

Question: I want Deacon and Rayna to end up together on Nashville! — Jessie

Natalie: Don’t we all. Unfortunately, you may have to wait a little longer. In fact, I hear that after Luke professes his love for Rayna on Wednesday’s episode, he will make an even bigger play for Rayna’s heart in the finale. Though it’s safe to assume Deacon won’t be pleased by that particular development, his reaction will surprise everyone.

Question: Anything on Under the Dome would be great. — Marciella

Natalie: Julia will take on a leadership role in Chester’s Mill in Season 2 — and that won’t sit well with Big Jim’s supporters. However, Julia’s initiative will backfire in a big way when one of her big ideas for the town goes awry in explosive fashion. The question is: Was she set up?

Question: Revenge has me hooked once again. Please tell me the finale won’t disappoint! – Meggy

TV Scoop Team: Um, it won’t. Seriously, you need to watch this finale live as more than one major death goes down by episode’s end. Plus, Emily will receive both the best and worst news of her life, while Victoria will make her biggest move against Emily yet. And if that’s not enough, the show will manage to pull off its most shocking twist ever.

Question: Holy crap, The Blacklist is insane right now! What can we expect next?! – Seth

TV Scoop Team: Tom’s true feelings for Liz to be revealed, an intense showdown between Red and Berlin…and the death of a major player on the team. Break out the tissues, y’all!

Question: I can’t wait for my favorite summer show Under the Dome to return! What can you tell me about season two? – Kevin

TV Scoop Team: Expect to learn a whole lot more about Barbie’s past…and to meet someone very close to him midway through the season.

Question: Holy crap, I can’t believe Leith is coming back on Reign! Please tell me there’s hope for him and Greer? – Nellie

TV Scoop Team: What was the French Court’s version of Facebook because things are complicated between the duo. “It will change everything when Leith comes back [to French Court]. He’s a different person,” Laurie McCarthy previewed for us. “He has different opportunities and different ambitions, we’ll come to find out as well.”

That’s it. Enjoy!

Q&A SECTION (with TV Scoop Team at E! Online)

Question: In dire need of some Supernatural scoop on Castiel! I feel like I have not gotten enough time with my favorite angel this season! – Beth

TV Scoop Team: Well, then you’ll love what’s ahead! Castiel’s role in the final episodes of the season “is really important,” supervising producer Andrew Dabb previews. “He is part of the mythology as he has been in seasons past for us. He plays big in the last…episodes.” But what about Season 10?! “As far as next season goes, look, we love Misha [Collins]. Misha’s awesome. I have a hard time imagining the show without him.”

Question: I love Cosima and Delphine from Orphan Black so much! What’s coming up for their relationship? – Ashley

TV Scoop Team: Take it away, co-creator Graeme Mason! “I love Cophine too, but that relationship’s gonna remain on thin ice,” the showrunner exclusively revealed to us, “Their hearts are wrapped up in it, there’s no denying that. I don’t think Tatiana Maslany or Evelyn Brochu believe that their characters’ hearts aren’t in this, but there’s large forces at play. Delphine’s not above a power play, and Delphine has to learn to play dirty.” What do you think about that, Cophine lovers?

Question: Give me Sleepy Hollow! Now! – Cecilia

TV Scoop Team: Ok, but you could be nicer about it! In episode two, we’ll meet a new tall, muscular guy who’s great at sword-fighting, stunts, and horseback riding. Can you say third horseman of the apocalypse? Do you think it will be Conquest or Famine? Have you ever been so excited about a dude on a horse?! (We love this show.)

That’s it. Enjoy!

Q&A SECTION (with Natalie Abrams at TV Guide)

Question: What’s up with Chloe’s look on 24: Live Another Day? — Jessica

Natalie: Isn’t that what all computer hackers look like? In all seriousness, it’s not just Chloe’s work with a WikiLeaks-like organization called Red Sect that causes the personal transformation. “She’s also suffered a personal tragedy,” Mary Lynn Rajskub teases. “She’s in a lot of pain and [is] angry, and that’s reflected in her look.” But Chloe has also undergone an emotional makeover. In other words, she might not be so eager to be Jack Bauer’s right-hand girl. “When she realizes what he wants from her, she’s very angry,” Rajskub says. “They don’t see eye-to-eye. She’s questioning him more than she has, and for the first time, she has words with him.”

Question: I need some Blacklist scoop! — Mark

Natalie: As the promos tease, Berlin is not a place, but the person who has been targeting Red all along. The good news: Red will finally learn Berlin’s identity when he literally falls from the sky. The bad news: Berlin also has a connection to Tom, who unfortunately has orders to kill Liz. We know Tom and Liz’s marriage was all a sham, but will he actually be able to pull the trigger?

Question: I’m excited for Michael Huisman to be on Orphan Black. Do you know what he’ll be doing? — Clark

Natalie: He plays a rough outdoorsman named Cal whose spotty history with Sarah will be revealed when he’s forced to help Sarah, Felix and Kira while they’re on the run. Needless to say, Cal’s none too happy to have Sarah back in his life — especially when she drops some life-changing news on him.

Question: Anything Arrow, but preferably about Roy. — Rosaline, via Twitter

Natalie: Unfortunately, Roy will remain in a venom-induced coma for several episodes as Team Arrow attempts to track down the cure. “The cure is not only the means to salvage Roy, but it’s also the means to stop Slade,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. Although Roy will be awake by the finale, the team will grapple with whether or not to reveal that Roy killed someone during his Mirakuru rage — a decision that I hear will come back to haunt them in Season 3.

Question: Any Covert Affairs scoop? — Carl

Natalie: There’s a new figure in Arthur and Joan’s lives — and we’re not talking about baby MacKenzie! Arthur will get a gig working for Ryan McQuaid (new regular Nicholas Bishop), a Navy SEAL-turned-private contractor billionaire, and his right-hand woman Caitlyn Cooper (Perrey Reeves from Entourage) will be quite, uh, welcoming toward Arthur. I mean, who wouldn’t invite your new colleague to discuss mission strategies over wine?

That’s it. Enjoy!

PS: I will be on a mini-vacation starting tomorrow and the entertainment updates for the next few days will be grouped either on Friday or Monday.
