On September 8, the new movie Witness to Murder: A Darrow Mystery will debut simultaneously on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

Hustlers
Opens: September 13
The movie centers around a group of strippers, led by an aging and ambitious single mother (Constance Wu), as they lie, steal and hustle dozens of wealthy men when the sex indusry bottoms out during the late-2000s financial crisis. A journalist (Julia Stiles) covering the story for a magazine interviews one of the ringleaders and tries to figure out where it all went wrong. The film also stars Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo and Mercedes Ruehl.
Imprisoned
Opens: September 13
Dylan Burke (Juan Pablo Raba), attempts to move on from his former life as a criminal, with his true love, Maria (Juana Acosta). He soon realizes that his past will continue to haunt him, when he learns the new local prison warden, Daniel Calvin (Laurence Fishburne), has not forgiven him for an old crime. Calvin does everything in his power to make sure that Burke pays for his past mistakes, even going as far as to frame him for a murder he didn’t commit, landing him back in jail. When the prison erupts into a riot, Burke and Calvin are each forced to make a choice between righteousness and revenge.
The Goldfinch

Theodore Decker was 13 years old (played by Oakes Fegley as young Theo and Ansel Elgort as grown-up Theo) when his mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The tragedy changes the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and guilt, reinvention and redemption, and even love. Through it all, he holds on to one tangible piece of hope from that terrible day — a painting of a tiny bird chained to its perch. The cast includes Nicole Kidman, Sarah Paulson, Luke Wilson, Jeffrey Wright, Denis O’Hare, Peter Jacobson, Luke Kleintank and Ashleigh Cummings.

Opens: September 20
Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father (Tommy Lee Jones) and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of humans on Earth. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos. The film also stars Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, Donald Sutherland, Kimberly Elise, LisaGay Hamilton and John Ortiz.
Downton Abbey
Opens: September 20
It’s 1927 and the Crawley family and the servants of Downton Abbey are to receive a visit from the King and Queen, causing a stir in the great house. All of the main cast will return to reprise their roles, including Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Matthew Goode, Laura Carmichael, Harry Hadden-Paton, Penelope Wilton, Allen Leech, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Brendan Coyle, Joanne Froggatt, Rob James-Collier, Kevin Doyle, Lesley Nicol and Sophie McShera. The new cast members include Max Brown, Geraldine James, Simon Jones, Tuppence Middleton and Imelda Staunton.
Rambo: Last Blood
Opens: September 20
John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) travels to Mexico to save a friend’s daugther who has been kidnapped by the Mexican cartel. The film also stars Paz Vega, Adriana Barraza and relative newcomer Yvette Monreal.
Abominable
Opens: September 27
In this animated film, teenager Yi (Chloe Bennet) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai. She and her mischievous friends Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai) name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth. But the trio of friends will have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish (Eddie Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson) to help Everest get home.
Judy
Opens: September 27
Set in 1969 when Judy Garland (Renee Zellweger) arrived in the British capital for a five-week run of sell-out concerts. The film also stars Rufus Sewell, Michael Gambon and Finn Wittrock.

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries new movie Chronicle Mysteries: The Deep End will debut on August 25 at 8 PM.
The latest edition of Alex McPherson’s (Alison Sweeney) true crime podcast Recovered centers on the death of a man whose wife seems certain to be convicted for his murder. As she follows the story on her podcast, Alex, assisted by her colleague Drew Godfrey (Benjamin Ayres), becomes convinced that the wife didn’t do it, but unless she can identify and locate the killer before the trial reaches its conclusion, an innocent woman will take the fall for a murder she didn’t commit.
