The Hallmark Channel movie A Dash Of Love will debut on February 11 at 9 PM.

When an aspiring chef lands an assistant job at her idol’s restaurant, she’s convinced her big break is just around the corner. After a rocky start, she befriends the handsome executive chef and they begin bonding in the kitchen. But her joy is short lived when she discovers her idol’s stealing her recipes and fires them both to protect her secret. Together, they set out to create their own pop up restaurant and discover the most important ingredient is love.

The film stars Jen Lilley (Days of Our Lives) and Brendan Penny (Chesapeake Shores and Motive).

On February 11, the new Lifetime movie Britney Ever After will debut at 8 PM.

Australian actress Natasha Bassett will play Britney Spears in this made-for-TV movie that dramatizes the tumultuous story of the pop icon’s rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual resurrection, which firmly secured her status as one of the world’s most enduring entertainers.

Clayton Chitty (The Man in the High Castle) will play Kevin Federline, Nathan Keyes (the made-for-TV movie JL Ranch) will play Justin Timberlake and Connor Paton (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce) will play Lance Bass.

walking-the-dog

The new Hallmark Channel movie Walking the Dog will debut on February 4 at 9 PM.

Rival lawyers (Jennifer Finnigan from Tyrant and Sam Page from Switched at Birth) battle each other in court as their respective dogs fall madly in love, bringing their guardians together at every turn until they reluctantly realize it may not just be the pups who are each other’s true Valentine.

The cast also includes Kimberly Sustad (the Hallmark Channel movie The Nine Lives of Christmas) and Hilary Jardine (Van Helsing).

The Comedian
Opens: February 3

Jackie (Robert DeNiro) is a comic icon, attempting to reinvent himself despite his audience only wanting to know him as a television character he played earlier in his career. After accosting an audience member, Jackie is sentenced to community service where he meets Harmony (Leslie Mann). The film also stars Danny DeVito, Edie Falco, Cloris Leachman, Patti LuPone, Harvey Keitel and Billy Crystal.

The Space Between Us
Opens: February 3

In this interplanetary adventure, a space shuttle embarks on the first mission to colonize Mars, only to discover after takeoff that one of the astronauts is pregnant. Shortly after landing, she dies from complications while giving birth to the first human born on the red planet – never revealing who the father is. Thus begins the extraordinary life of Gardner Elliot (Asa Butterfield) – an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy who reaches the age of 16 having only met 14 people in his very unconventional upbringing. While searching for clues about his father, and the home planet he’s never known, Gardner begins an online friendship with a street smart girl in Colorado named Tulsa (Britt Robertson). When he finally gets a chance to go to Earth, he’s eager to experience all of the wonders he could only read about on Mars – from the most simple to the extraordinary. But once his explorations begin, scientists discover that Gardner’s organs can’t withstand Earth’s atmosphere. Eager to find his father, Gardner escapes the team of scientists and joins with Tulsa on a race against time to unravel the mysteries of how he came to be, and where he belongs in the universe. A United Kingdom
Opens: February 10

The film, based on a true story, focuses on Seretse Khama (David Oyelowo), who is the Prince of Bechuanaland (now Botswana). In 1948 he meets and falls in love with London office worker Ruth Williams (Rosamund Pike). But their interracial relationship is not approved of by either of their families, nor by the British and South African governments. Seretse and Ruth must defy family, apartheid and the British Empire to return from an imposed exile to their African kingdom, and assume power after independence. The cast includes Jack Davenport, Tom Felton and Laura Carmichael.

John Wick, Chapter 2
Opens: February 10

Legendary hitman John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. The cast includes Common, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick and Thomas Sadoski.

The Lego Batman Movie
Opens: February 10

Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) goes on a personal journey to find himself and learn the importance of teamwork and friendship in hopes to save Gotham City from a hostile takeover set by The Joker (voice by Zach Galifianakis). Other voices will be provided by Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Mariah Carey and Jenny Slate.

Patient Zero
Opens: February 17

After a pandemic outbreak, a mutated form of rabies results in most humans being turned into a highly intelligent new species known as “The Infected”: a human survivor, Morgan (Matt Smith), with the ability to talk with the “infected,” investigates these species and pursues “Patient Zero” to find an antidote to save humanity, including his infected wife. Aiding Morgan on the mission to find Patient Zero is CDC virologist Dr. Gina Rose (Natalie Dormer), leading the scientific research efforts, while Colonel Knox (Clive Standen) is in charge of the military front. The film also stars Stanely Tucci.

Bitter Harvest
Opens: February 24

The film follows two lovers (Max Irons and Samantha Barks) struggling to survive the Holodomor Soviet regime forced famine with their Cossack grain farmer families. The cast also includes Barry Pepper.

Rock Dog
Opens: February 24

In this animated film, Bodi, a wide-eyed Tibetan Mastiff (voice by Luke Wilson), is expected to become the next village guard to a group of fun-loving, country-side sheep, but fears he doesn’t have the passion to assume the role from his dad, Khampa (voiced by J.K. Simmons). Everything changes when a radio literally falls out of the sky and Bodi hears a song by rock legend Angus Scattergood (voiced by Eddie Izzard), opening his heart to a musical world he must explore. Leaving home to chase his destiny in the big city, Bodi attracts the attention of Khampa’s nemesis, Linnux (voiced by Lewis Black). Leader of a hungry wolf pack, Linnux believes that Bodi is his ticket back into the village and closer to delicious sheep. It is up to Bodi to save his family and friends from harm without giving up his newfound dream. Other voices will be provided by Kenan Thompson, Mae Whitman, Jorge Garcia, Matt Dillon and Sam Elliott.

Tulip Fever
Opens: February 24

Set in the Netherlands in the early 17th century, during the period of the tulip mania, an artist (Dane DeHaan) falls for a married young woman (Alicia Vikander) while he’s commissioned to paint her portrait by her husband (Christoph Waltz). The two invest in the risky tulip market in hopes to build a future together. The film also stars Dame Judi Dench, Jack O’Connell, Holliday Grainger, Matthew Morrison, Cara Delevingne, Tom Hollander, Kevin McKidd and Davie Harewood.

The latest Hallmark Hall of Fame movie Love Locks will debut on the Hallmark Channel on January 28 at 9 PM.

Lindsay Phillips (Rebecca Romijn from The Librarians) and her teenaged daughter Alexa travel to Paris so the girl can enroll in art school with the same teacher Lindsay had as a young woman. Lindsay is a gifted painter, however, after a broken promise with a boyfriend, she ends up back in New York, not as an artist, but as the editor of an art magazine. Lindsay cannot imagine that her journey to Paris with her daughter will result in an unplanned encounter with her former boyfriend, Jack Burrows (Jerry O’Connell from Scream Queens), a hotelier, or that the pair will reignite their passionate love affair.

On January 28, the Lifetime original movie Love by the 10th Date will debut at 8 PM.

The telefilm follows Gabby (Meagan Good from Code Black), Nell (Kelle Stewart from The Soul Man), Billie (Keri Hilson from Think Like a Man) and Margot (Destiny’s Child singer Kelli Rowland) who balance their dating adventures alongside their career ambitions at an upscale digital magazine in Los Angeles, under the watchful eye of their editor, Maureen (Cat Deeley from So You Think You Can Dance).

birthday-wish

The new Hallmark Channel movie The Birthday Wish will debut on January 21 at 9 PM.

With her thirtieth birthday approaching, Gwen Turner (Jessy Schram from Falling Skies), a young TV commercial director who plans every detail of her life, hopes her boyfriend, Alex Stone, will finally propose and fulfill her goal of being engaged by the time she’s thirty. Gwen meets Dave McKinley (Luke Macfarlane from Killjoys), a charming commercial director with a spontaneous approach to life, when an upscale ad agency pairs them to work together.

When Alex does not propose, a disappointed Gwen makes a birthday wish: to see what her life will look like in ten years. The next morning, her wish miraculously comes true when she sees a vision of her future in which she is a happily married mom. But to her surprise, the man she’s married to in her vision is Dave, not Alex.

On January 21, the small screen adaptation of the box office film Beaches will air on Lifetime at 8 PM.

This version of the film follows the serendipitous meeting of two young girls on the Venice Boardwalk, who, though worlds apart in lifestyle, embark on unexpected and lifelong friendship. CC (Broadway star Idina Menzel) is an aspiring singer trying to make it in Los Angeles until she is discovered by a director who gives her her first big shot. Hillary (Nia Long from House of Lies) is the daughter of a prominent civil rights lawyer who struggles to find her own destiny. Their friendship – even with its ups and downs – sustains them for decades.

The cast includes Antonio Cupo (Bomb Girls).

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Framed for Murder: A Fixer Upper Mystery will debut on January 15 at 9 PM.

In the small resort town of Lighthouse Cove, everyone knows that the best man for the job is a woman. And that woman is Shannon Hughes (singer-actress Jewel), owner of a construction company and an expert in Victorian home restoration and renovation. Through her renovations she will find clues to uncover the house’s secret past and in turn become an unlikely sleuth to help crack these unsolved mysteries.

The cast includes Colin Ferguson (Eureka and Cedar Cove) and Laura Soltis (A Cookie Cutter Christmas).

The Hallmark Channel movie A Royal Winter will debut on January 14 at 9 PM.

While on a last-minute European holiday, a young woman finds herself in the middle of a real-life fairy tale when a chance meeting with a handsome local leads to something more. However, things get complicated when she learns that the “local” is actually a prince who is about to be crowned King, and whose mother is dead-set against her royal son’s romance with the tourist.

The cast includes Merritt Patterson (The Royals) and Jack Donnelly (Atlantis).
