Comic Con 2017 was held in San Diego from July 19 through July 23.

While I was busy covering panel rooms for TV Equals and NiceGirlsTV as well as Rueben’s Ramblings, our very own Dominick Dusseault was hitting up Hall H to snap as many pictures of the annual fete as possible.

What is to follow below (and over the course of the next few days or so) are just some of the fantastic photos he took during the annual event.

On August 18, the complete season of Marvel’s The Defenders will stream on Netflix.

Show Synopsis: The 8-episode series follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

The cast includes Carrie-Ann Moss, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Elodie Yung, Rachael Taylor, Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn and Sigourney Weaver.

The new DirecTV series Mr. Mercedes will debut on August 9 at 8 PM.

Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, the series follows a demented killer named Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadway from Penny Dreadful), who taunts retired police detective Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson from the Harry Potter franchise) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.

The cast includes Kelly Lynch (Magic City and the box office film Road House), Mary Louise-Parker (Weeds), Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men) and Scott Lawrence (JAG).

On August 2, the series premiere of the new USA Network series The Sinner will debut at 10 PM.

The 8-episode series follows a young mother (Jessica Biel) who, overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage, commits a startling act of violence and to her horror has no idea why. The event launches an inverted and utterly surprising crime thriller whose driving force is not the “who” or the “what” — but the “why” — as an investigator (Bill Pullman) finds himself obsessed with uncovering the woman’s buried motive.

On August 1, the Discovery Channel scripted anthology series Manhunt: Unabomber will air a two-hour episode at 9 PM.

The series depicts the true story of the FBI’s famed hunt for the Unabomber, the deadliest serial bomber in history. Sam Worthington stars as FBI agent Jim “Fitz” Fitzgerald, a fresh-faced criminal profiler and newest member of the Unabom Task Force, who faced an uphill battle against the bureaucracy of the UTF as his maverick ideas and new approaches to forensic linguistics were dismissed. Paul Bettany stars as Ted Kaczynski, who was eventually captured 17 years after his first bombing in 1978 that to Fitzgerald’s unconventional work.

The cast also includes Jane Lynch (Glee), Brian d’Arcy James (13 Reasons Why and Smash), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider and Game of Thrones), Trieste Kelly Dunn (Blindspot) and Elizabeth Reaser (Twilight franchise).

On July 28, the Amazon streaming series The Last Tycoon will debut online.

The series follows Hollywood’s Golden Boy, Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer from White Collar) as he battles father figure and boss, Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer from Frasier and Boss) for the soul of their studio in the 1930’s.

The cast also includes Lily Collins (The Blind Side and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones), Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land) and Dominique McElligott (House of Cards).

Inspired by the life of legendary film mogul Irving Thalberg from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s last work.

Midnight, Texas is the new NBC drama that will debut on July 24 at 10 PM.

Based on the best-selling book series by Charlaine Harris (the women behind the books that inspired True Blood) the series stars François Arnaud (The Borgias and Blindspot) as Manfred, a charming, powerful psychic who can communicate with spirits and finds safety in Midnight, surrounding himself with both human and supernatural allies.

The cast includes Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black), Parisa Fitz-Henley (Luke Cage), Arielle Kebbel (The Vampire Diaries), Jason Lewis (Sex and the City), Peter Mensah (True Blood and Sleepy Hollow), Sarah Ramos (Parenthood) and Yul Vazquez (Captain Phillips).

On July 24, the new ABC drama Somewhere Between will debut at 10:01 PM.

Paula Patton (Warcraft) stars as Laura Price, a superstar news producer in San Francisco, who is a fiercely loving mom, but she isn’t crazy: Laura knows her 8-year-old daughter is going to be murdered. She doesn’t know who the murderer is, or why she’s killed, but she knows exactly when it will happen, where, and how. Despite this, all of her attempts to keep her daughter safe fail, and Serena’s fixed, unmovable, terrifying fate keeps her directly in the path of her killer.

The cast includes JR Bourne (Teen Wolf), Devon Sawa (Nikita) and Samantha Ferris (Supernatural).

On July 21, the new streaming series Ozark will debut on Netflix.

The 10-episode series revolves around financial planner Marty (Jason Bateman from Arrested Development) and Wendy Bird (Laura Linney from The Big C) and their family’s sudden relocation from the suburbs of Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks when his dealing with a drug cartel go awry.

On July 13, the new series Hooten & The Lady will debut on The CW at 9 PM.

This new 8-hour series tells the story of two globetrotting treasure hunters who set out to recover priceless legendary artifacts. Hooten (Michael Landes from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) is a smooth-talking, yet foolhardy, lone wolf, who often finds himself in sticky situations. Lady Alexandra (Ophelia Lovibond from Elementary) is an aristocrat and British Museum curator who, despite being straight-laced, is eager to follow in the footsteps of history’s great archaeologists and venture to uncharted lands.
