It was quite a hit or miss night last night for the major networks. I think some viewers were still shell-shocked by the World Series upsetting the regular programming schedule with many viewers simply not knowing what was airing and what wasn’t.

The show is a hit! That is what ABC can say about their new fairytale drama Once Upon a Time. And, CBS can complain that sports are delaying their dramas from airing on time, but still pulling in the numbers so it’s totally a loss, right? The final game of the World Series threw the regular planned Friday night line-up on some of the major networks into a tizzy with Fringe being postponed, CBS airing repeats rather than new episodes of their dramas and NBC trudging straight forward with their shows.

In preparation for the World Series on FOX, most of the networks planned repeat episodes of their Wednesday night programming, but the weather had other plans, making it necessary for the baseball game to be delayed and giving TV viewers (and non-sports fan: yes, we do exist) not much of anything new to watch EXCEPT for ABC’s Revenge.
