On September 21, FOX will debut the Spectrum Originals drama L.A.’s Finest at 8 PM.

The show follows Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has seemingly left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret.

The cast includes Zach Gilford, Ryan McPartlin, Duane Martin, Sophie Reynolds and Ernie Hudson.

On September 20, the movie Cookie Mobster will debut on UPtv at 7 PM.

After finding himself in the witness relocation program, a reformed mobster (Rick Malambri) comes to the aid of a local girl scout troop and starts falling for one of the single mothers.

The Hallmark Channel movie Follow Me to Daisy Hills will air on September 19 at 9 PM.

When Jo realizes that her family’s general store in Daisy Hills is losing money, her father Duke calls in a favor to help. Duke’s help is Jo’s ex-boyfriend, Blake, former Daisy Hills native.

On September 18, the new Netflix series Ratched will debut online.

In this prequel series to the classic box office movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the series follows Nurse Rateched (Sarah Paulson) on her journey and evolution from nurse to full-fledged monster.

The ensemble cast includes Cynthia Nixon, Corey Stoll, Judy Davis, Amanda Plummer, Rosanna Arquette, Hunter Parrish, Finn Wittrock, Charlie Carver and Sharon Stone.

The new Peacock drama Departure will debut online on September 17.

Passenger plane Flight 716 shockingly vanishes, and brilliant investigator Kendra Malley (Archie Panjabi from The Good Wife), alongside her mentor Howard Lawson (veteran actor Christopher Plummer) are brought on to lead the investigation. When battling forces threaten to undermine their work, Kendra must find the truth and stop it from happening again.

The series also stars Kris Holden-Reid (The Umbrella Academy and Lost Girl), Rebecca Liddiard (Frankie Drake Mysteries), Peter Mensah (Midnight, Texas) and Sasha Roiz (Grimm and Suits).

On September 16, the Netflix film The Devil All the Time will debut online.

Set in Ohio between the end of World War II and the beginning of the Vietnam War, the film follows a non-linear storyline of various (very) disturbed people who suffer from the damages of the post-war and crime.

The ensemble cast includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian StanJason ClarkeBill Skarsgard, Mia Wasikowska, Riley Keough, Haley Bennett and Eliza Scanlen.

The HBO 8-episode new drama We Are Who We Are will debut on September 14 at 10 PM

The series tells the story of two American kids (Jack Dylan Grazer from the box office movie Shazam! and newcomer Jordan Kristine Seamon), who live on a U.S. military base in Italy, the series explores friendship, first-love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager.

The drama also stars Alice Braga and Chloe Sevigny.

On September 14, the 6-episode limited drama The Third Day will debut on HBO at 9 PM.

The first three episodes are called “Summer” and the latter three episodes are called “Winter.”

Jude Law stars in “Summer” as Sam, a man who is drawn to a mysterious island off the British coast where he encounters a group of islanders set on preserving their traditions at any cost. Isolated from the mainland, Sam is unable to leave the idyllic and dangerously enchanting world he has discovered, where the secretive rituals of its inhabitants bring him to grapple with experiences of loss and trauma hidden in his past through the distorted lens of the present.

As boundaries between fantasy and reality fragment, his quest to unlock the truth leads the islanders to reveal a shocking secret. In “Winter” Naomie Harris (from the box office film Moonlight) as Helen, a strong-willed outsider who comes to the island seeking answers, but whose arrival precipitates a fractious battle to decide its fate as the lines between fantasy and fact are distorted.

The series also stars Katherine Waterston and Emily Watson.

When widow Christy (Jewel Staite from Firefly and Stargate: Atlantis) meets widower Charlie (Travis Milne from Rookie Blue), they find that they have a lot more in common than their lost loved ones. Their friendship turns to romance as they each struggle to let go of the past and give love a second chance.
