The spin-off series Power Book II: Ghost will debut on Starz on September 6 at 9 PM.

The drama picks up from the Power finale, following Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) as he navigates his new life, in which his desire to shed his father’s legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family.

The cast includes Mary J. Blige, Melanie Liburd, Method Man, Naturi Naughton, Shalim Ortiz and Sherri Saum.

As she embarks on a treacherous mission to Mars commanding an international crew, Emma Green (Hilary Swank) must leave her husband and teen daughter behind.

On September 3, the new 10-episode HBO Max drama Raised by Wolves will debut online.

The series centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.

The series stars mostly newcomers along with Vikings alum Travis Fimmel.

The new Netflix movie Love, Guaranteed will debut online on September 3.

It follows Susan (Rachael Leigh Cook), an earnest attorney who has taken one too many pro bono cases. She begrudgingly takes a high-paying, high-profile case from Nick (Damon Wayans Jr.), a charming new client who wants to sue a dating website that guarantees users will find love. Susan and Nick soon find themselves in the middle of a media storm, and as the case heats up, so do their feelings for each other — which could jeopardize everything.

The movie also stars Heather Graham.

On September 1, the hit Canadian medical drama Transplant will debut on NBC at 10 PM.

The series centers on Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq from Quantico), a Syrian doctor with battle-tested skills in emergency medicine who fled his country with his younger sister, Amira. Together they struggle to build a new life in Canada as Bash strives to rebuild his career in medicine.

The cast includes John Hannah (The Mummy franchise) and Torri Higginson (Stargate: Atlantis)

The 8-hour global event of DC Fandome took place today (with encore presentations going through tomorrow) as well as even more “stuff” to be presented on September 12. You can get all the details here.

But some of the big highlights from the fan experience included the brand new trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, a behind-the-scenes look at The Suicide Squad, a teaser for Zack Snyder’s Director’s Cut of Justice League, the introduction of Black Adam (which inducts Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson into the DC Universe) and the first trailer for The Batman.

The two-night Freeform limited series Love in the Time of Corona will debut on August 22 and August 23 at 8 PM (on both nights).

Here are the details for each episode:

August 22 Episode 1 – “The Course of Love”

Married couple James and Sade (Leslie Odom Jr. from Hamilton and his real-life wife Nicolette Robinson from The Affair) adjust to being together 24/7 in quarantine now that James’ business travel has come to a halt. Nanda (L. Scott Caldwell from Lost) spends time, virtually, with her husband, who is in a nursing home. Roommates Oscar and Elle (Tommy Dorfman from 13 Reasons Why and Rainey Qualley from Mad Men) decide to break out of their co-dependence and try online dating. Meanwhile, Sophie (Ava Bellows) returns home from her freshman year of college to spend quarantine with her parents (Gil Bellows from Ally McBeal and Rya Kihlstedt from Heroes Reborn – Ava’s real-life parents), who unbeknownst to her have decided to separate.

August 22 Episode 2 – “#RelationshipGoals”

James reacts to the video of the Ahmaud Arbery shooting. Nanda reconnects with her estranged son, who has returned home to live in her guest house after losing his job. When Elle decides she can’t take a backseat to Oscar’s budding romance, she finally tells Oscar how she truly feels. Paul and Sarah try to cheer up Sophie after a breakup.

August 23 – Episode 3 – “Seriously Now”

Oscar feels a fracture in his friendship with Elle as she gets to know their downstairs neighbor Adam. Sarah and Sophie both find out a secret Paul has been keeping. Nanda attempts to repair her son’s relationship with his father. Tensions continue to run high as James and Sade struggle to get on the same page about their family’s future.

August 23 – Episode 4 – “Love and Protest”

James and Sade reflect on raising a Black child in the current climate in America. Paul recruits Sophie to help him throw a romantic evening. Elle and Oscar navigate their new relationship.

On August 21, the Amazon Prime movie Chemical Hearts will debut online.

The movie tells the story of Henry Page (Austin Abrams from This Is Us and Euphoria), a teenage student who considers himself a hopeless romantic but has never fallen in love. He aspires to be editor of the high school newspaper and lives happily focused on his studies to enter a good university, until Grace Town (Lili Reinhart from Riverdale and the box office film Hustlers) enters his class. His new partner is not exactly the girl of his dreams, but little by little he falls in love with her when the two are chosen to edit their school’s newspaper.

On August 16, the new HBO series Lovecraft Country will debut at 9 PM.

Based on the novel of the same name by Matt Ruff, the ten-episode series follows Atticus Black (Jonathan Majors) as he journeys with his childhood friend Letitia (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and his uncle George (Courtney B. Vance) on a road trip from Chicago across 1950’s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father Montrose (Michael Kenneth Williams).

Their search-and-rescue turns into a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and monstrous creatures that could be ripped from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.

The cast includes Aunjanue Ellis, Jamie Chung, Erica Tazel and Tony Goldwyn.

On August 15, the UPtv movie Love on the Vines will debut at 7 PM.

When Diana (Margo Harshman) inherits half her uncle’s vineyard, she is surprised to find a rule requiring her to work the land with new co-owner Seth (Steve Talley) for three weeks, or risk losing the land.

The cast includes Jack Wagner and Catherine Mary Stewart.
