Code Black

On September 30, the series debut of the new medical drama Code Black will air on CBS at 10 PM.

The new medical drama takes place in the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients can outweigh the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses whose job is to treat them all – creating a condition known as Code Black.

The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville (Golden Boy), Raza Jaffrey (Smash), Luis Guzman (How to Make It In America) and Ben Hollingsworth (A Wish Come True) [among others].

Hello It's Me

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Hello, It’s Me will debut on September 27 at 9 PM.

Two years after her husband Andre’s death, Annie (Kelli Martin from ER and Life Goes On) and her children Ella and Milo struggle to cope with his loss. Annie can’t imagine falling in love after losing Andre, until she meets James (Kavan Smith from When Calls the Heart), a wealthy bachelor who is drawn to her free spirit. Annie is afraid to love again and longs for guidance when she catches herself starting to fall for James. Her concerns are answered when she starts receiving communications from her late husband that encourage her to follow her heart.

Quantico

The new drama Quantico will debut on September 27 at 10 PM on ABC.

A diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.

The cast includes Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town), Aunjanue Ellis (NCIS: Los Angeles), Graham Rogers (Revolution), Jake McLaughlin (Believe), Johanna Braddy (UnReal) and Tate Ellington (The Mindy Project).

Blood & Oil

On September 27 the new drama Blood & Oil will debut on ABC at 9 PM.

Billy and Cody Lefever (Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl and Rebecca Rittenhouse from Red Band Society) dream of a new life beyond their working class roots and move to “The Bakken” in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history. They’re soon pitted against a ruthless tycoon (Don Johnson) who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage.

Love On the Air

The new Hallmark Channel movie Love On the Air will debut on September 26 at 9 PM.

When polar opposite radio hosts Sonia (Allison Sweeney from Days of Our Lives) and Nick (Jonathan Scarfe from Ties That Bind) are assigned to co-host a talk show, their conflicting approaches to love and relationships create a battle of the sexes. Though the independent woman and the defiant bachelor spar on air, the common bond of having been hurt in relationships makes them friends in their personal lives. When Nick tries to help Sonia win her ex-fiancé back, however, both begin to realize that their friendly feelings may have grown into something more. As the two radio personalities begin to let their emotional guards down, they must decide if their true love is on the air.

The Player

On, September 24, the new NBC drama The Player will debut at 10 PM.

Box office star Wesley Snipes and Philip Winchester (Strike Back) star in this action-packed Las Vegas thriller about a former military operative turned security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out. Can he take them down from the inside and get revenge for the death of his wife, or is it true what they say: The house always wins.

The cast includes Charity Wakefield (Sense & Sensibility and Mockingbird Lane), Daisy Betts (The Last Resort and Persons Unknown) and Damon Gupton (Rake and The Divide).

Heroes Reborn

On September 24, the new reboot series Heroes Reborn will debut for two hours at 8 PM on NBC.

The 13-episode event series chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives.

The cast includes Zachary Levi (Chuck) [playing very much against type] and Judith Shekoni (the Twilight franchise) are a married couple seeking to avenge a tragic loss; Jack Coleman returns as Noah Bennet (aka H.R.G.), who has gone off the grid; Henry Zebrowski (A to Z) plays a conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady, who finds Noah and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy; Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time) play Tommy, an awkward teen, who just wants to be normal; Gatlin Green (Criminal Minds) is Emily, the girl of Tommy’s dreams; Danika Yarosh (Shameless) plays Malina, a very sheltered, bold and ethereal teenager, who has been told she is destined for greatness; Kiki Sukezane (Death Yankee 3) plays Miko, a quiet and unique young woman, who is trying to track down her missing father; Ryan Guzman (Pretty Little Liars and The Boy Next Door) plays Carlos, a former soldier; Rya Kihlstedt (Masters of Sex) plays Erica, the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate Renautas, who has an agenda of her own.

Cast members from the original series who will reprise their roles include Greg Grunberg, Masi Oka, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Noah Gray-Cabey, Cristine Rose and Sendhil Ramamurthy; and other cast members include Cle Bennett (Rookie Blue and Lost Girl), Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black) and Nazneen Contractor (Covert Affairs).

Rosewood

The new drama Rosewood will air its series premiere on FOX at 8 PM on September 23.

The series focuses on Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut from Legends and Nurse Jackie), the most brilliant private pathologist in Miami, who uses his wildly sophisticated autopsy lab to perform for-hire autopsies to uncover clues that the Miami PD can’t see. His new partner-in-crime is Detective Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz from The After), a Miami PD detective with attitude and demons to spare.

The cast includes Domenick Lombardozzi (Breakout Kings), Maggie Elizabeth Jones (Ben and Kate and We Bought a Zoo) and Lorraine Toussaint (The Fosters and Forever).

Scream Queens

The new thriller Scream Queens will air its two-hour series debut at 8 PM on FOX on September 22.

Wallace University is rocked by a string of murders. Kappa House, the most sought-after sorority for pledges, is ruled with an iron fist (in a pink glove) by its Queen Bitch, Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts from American Horror Story: Freak Show).

But when anti-Kappa Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis from Halloween and True Lies) decrees that sorority pledging must be open to all students, and not just the school’s silver-spooned elite, all hell is about to break loose, as a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc, claiming one victim, one episode at a time.

Limitless

On September 22, the new CBS drama Limitless, based on the feature film, will debut at 10 PM.

The drama is about Brian Finch (Jake McDorman from Greek), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his extraordinary cognitive abilities to solve complex cases for them.

The cast includes Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), Hill Harper (CSI: NY) and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Grimm).
