The online series Dating Rules from My Future Self from Alloy Entertainment – the company behind such shows as Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries – has returned to Facebook with a new cast of characters and story.

What would you say if your ten-years-older self called to chew you out? In chapter one of Dating Rules From My Future Self: Season Two, Candice Accola (The Vampire Diaries) comes FaceTime to FaceTime with her older, wiser, and really pissed off future as Chloe Cunningham. Co-stars include Lindsay Kraft, Toby Meuli and Leah Rachel (who is also the writer of the second season) with guest star Reid Ewing. Season one star Shiri Appleby (Roswell and Life Unexpected) and Candice serve as producers.

Here is the second episode entitled “The Sexy Black Cat“.

The next episode will be available at Facebook on Thursday, August 9.

On August 11 the Hallmark Channel original movie The Music Teacher will debut at 9 PM.

Annie Potts plays Alyson Daley, a high school music teacher who loses her beloved music program to district budget cuts. Alyson created the program to help her eager, ambitious and talented students excel professionally and losing it means the kids will not have musical performance as an avenue to a brighter future. Just when she thinks the dream is over, Alyson’s former students reunite to put on a show-stopping musical to raise funds to keep the program – and everyone’s dreams – alive.

The cast includes Richard Thomas (The Waltons), Emilie Ullerup (Sanctuary) and Zak Santiago (Caprica).

On July 21, the Hallmark Channel movie How To Fall In Love will debut at 9 PM.

Harold White (Eric Mabius from Ugly Betty) an accountant, who never quite grew out of his awkward teenage years, hires Annie Hayes (Brooke D’Orsay from Drop Dead Diva and Royal Pains), the pretty and popular girl he knew in high school, to be his dating coach and help him shed his wallflower approach to romance. Annie even enlists her friend Kim (Kathy Najimy), a waitress at a local diner, to be Harold’s practice date. Thanks to Annie, Harold comes out of his shell and wins over a new love interest with the help of their shared passion for classic love songs.

Meanwhile, his dating lessons with his teenage crush reawaken old feelings. But when sparks unexpectedly fly between “student” and “teacher,” both Harold and Annie must learn how to make up for past mistakes if they’re going to hold onto true love.

The Lifetime original movie An Officer and a Murderer will debut on July 21 at 8 PM.

Gary Cole (Chuck), Laura Harris (Defying Gravity) and Rossif Sutherland (King) will star in this “based on a true story” about a powerful and respected military officer who committed numerous brutal crimes and was eventually brought down by a tenacious small town police detective.

The U.K. hit series Misfits will have its American debut on the cable channel Logo on July 19 at 10 PM.

When a group of law-breaking twentysomethings are suddenly vested with supernatural powers during a freak electrical storm, their already out-of-control lives are plunged into even deeper chaos. The rough and rebellious clan includes characters Nathan Young (Robert Sheehan), Simon Bellamy (Iwan Rheon), Curtis Donovan (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett), Kelly Bailey (Lauren Socha) and Alisha Bailey (Antonia Thomas).

On July 15, the six-episode mini-series Political Animals will start on USA Network at 10 PM.

Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver), a former First Lady and current Secretary of State, finds herself recently divorced, and must deal with State Department issues while trying to keep her family together.

The cast includes Carla Gugino, Ciaran Hinds, James Wolk, Sebastian Stan, Ellen Burstyn and Brittany Ishibashi.

Adrian Pasdar and Dylan Baker will have recurring roles.

The new TNT series Perception will debut on July 9 at 10 PM.

Dr. Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack), a talented but eccentric neuroscientist, is enlisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to assist in solving some of its most complex cases. Dr. Pierce works closely with Special Agent Kate Moretti (Rachael Leigh Cook), a former student who recruited him to work with the Bureau. Also on the team are Max Lewicki (Arjay Smith), Dr. Pierce’s teaching assistant and Natalie Vincent (Kelly Rowan), his best friend.

The Canadian series XIII, based on the graphic novel, will reair its 13 episode first season on Reelz Channel starting on June 29 at 9 PM.

Stuart Townsend (The League of Extraordinary Gentelmen), Aisha Tyler (Ghost Whisperer) and Virginie Ledoyen (The Beach) star in a story of a man’s quest to uncover the truth about his identity while trying to stop a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of the U.S. government and could change the balance of power in the world.

The new HBO series The Newsroom will debut on June 24 at 10 PM.

This drama is a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make a nightly cable-news program, focusing on a network anchor (Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer (Emily Mortimer), the newsroom staff (John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn and Dev Patel) and their boss (Sam Waterston). The series tracks their quixotic mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles-not to mention their own personal entanglements.
